It's a great gift for inquisitive children. I liked the selection of prepared slides with different types of materials, plants and insects. The focus is good, and the magnification is easy to adjust. The built-in light is bright enough to use for slides or any other materials placed under the lens. The included lanyard is very handy for smaller hands that might accidentally drop the microscope without it. Overall, a well thought out product for the money.

This mini microscope is perfect for kids to explore nature and see things up close that they usually can’t see. It has a magnification range from 60x to 120x, so they can check out all sorts of tiny details. But it does take a while to get it into focus. It does have a built-in LED light and is very portable.

This is a nice microscope set for my kids to take out into the yard and explore everything. The microscopes are easy to handle and have a dial to adjust the focus so they can see everything very clear. The LED light also allows them to see when the microscope is very near to an object and blocks out any ambient light. Overall a very practical set of microscopes and provide hours of enjoyment for my kids.
