might be a metric vs imperial diameter thing, but these do NOT stay in chair sockets that they should definitely stay put in. Otherwise, construction quality is good and they seem to be reliable. I've been using them for roughly a year in an office chair and other than falling out of sockets when I occasionally lift up the chair, they're ok. Haven't locked up or anything.

These work very well. Vacuums slide easily, quietly and smoothly across the floor without the swivel getting stuck like the original wheels do. I am using them on a newer (3yo) Shop Vac brand and an older (20+yo) Ridgid Wet Dry vacuum.They were a tight fit on both vacuums. I used 'Dry Lube' spray on the stems and they went in easier. I wasn't able to push them in (by hand) to the point of hearing the final 'snap', but they are in just to that point and held tightly enough that I'm not worried about them ever falling out.

Wheels are sturdy and fit my very old Lowe's (Kobalt) shop vac very well. They are snug and do the job nicely. I am happy with this purchase and recommend these wheels over the other more flimsy plastic ones.

These are very high quality wheels. They fit perfectly on my Craftsman 20 gallon shop vac. They are much higher quality than the original hard plastic wheels.

bought these to replace broken wheels on large shop vac and these worked perfectly, very stable, roll great and for some reason the locking model is less expensive than the non-locking model
