I'd been wanting a little battery powered chainsaw to clean up some limbs on my property and had been looking and comparing several for a while now, to be honest I was trying to find one that took two battery packs had automatic oiling and could be used on and off the pole, this one ticks all of those boxes except for the two battery packs. When I got it I added oil to the reservoir and I gave it a try as the battery was nearly fully charged. I tried it both on and off the pole and it cut through stuff that I felt really should have been cut with a full sized chainsaw. I have done a video review of it and the clippers from the same company. My sister recently bought and had a house built on a place in town and was needing to trim a bunch of trees and cut some large wild grape vines that are very large. I showed her this and let her try it and she absolutely loves it. She bought one for herself. She's 62 and recently retired and has no trouble using it, she's been using hers on and off the pole a lot. Our older brother tried hers and really like it, has said they'd make a great Christmas gift that would be a great addition to the cordless chainsaw I got for him last year, he loves that thing.Overall this is a great cordless polesaw even though it only uses one battery pack it lasts a really long time, it's well made, easy to use and really handy to have around, get this saw and their clipper kit so you can interchange the battery packs and you'll have everything you need to trim trees, vines, weeds and more around your place. My sister thought it was a bit heavy on the pole but says she can manage it well enough, took a little practice and getting used to it.Bottom line is if you need a good polesaw, small chainsaw and need cordless convenience and want good value for your money and something that hasn't got a lot of weight to it this kit is everything you need. The one I and my sister bought is the 8 inch that comes with a 10 inch bar and chain which I have yet to try as the 8 inch has been able to cut everything I've needed to cut so far. Great saw, I highly recommend this kit.

Update: still going strong, and still have another chain that I haven't used. I admit, reason I havent used, is got greenworks electric16 inch chainsaw (thanks to Amazon payments). Now cut 6 inch and over with that, even under 3 inch with that. but still Thankfull, so now cut big stuff and small with green works chainsaw. And smaller stiff too hard to break with hand, even half inch stuff, this electric makes it easy, and chains last so much longer.! Whatever size, is still easier then a hand saw. Many that get greenworks electric chainsaw say will never go back to gas.If can, in payments get a greenworks 16" electic chainsaw, and this 6 inch chainsaw will last forever in cutting small stuff even when in warmth of tent.have a large bell tent with a couch in it, a bed, a chair, coffee table, and wood stove. This saw allows me to cut up so much wood I love it. With 2 battery's and only 1 it 2 trips out to get fire wood I have enough fire wood to last 4 to 6 hours. What I normally do though is drain one, put it on charge and then use the other one, so that way I always have a full battery, so yes, on a full charge a battery can cut enough wood and last long enough so that you are never without wood.Although I did get me a Silky Zubat saw just in case and I love that too!One important Note:. After 3 months I was having trouble cutting big wood, would keep stopping and getting stuck in logs, and then die after only cutting 3nir 4 logs. I thought either the battery's was going bad, or the motor was. It could still cut small 3 or 4 inch logs, so I was like is ok, got my money's worth and still works on small stuff. What is nice the chainsaw came with 2 extra chains, Today I was like I'll try a new chain, that did the trick! Now it is like brand new again cutting 6nor 7 inch logs with ease! I am amazed just 1 chain lasted 3 months. Now time to get a chain saw sharpener, which I recommend everyone get at some point, but you'll have 6 or 7 months before you need one.All and all is a great saw and I'd buy another one if this one ever dies.
