Inexpensive compressor for double-piston Teves calipers. Plunger doesn't move all that easily but overall it works fine for the price, especially considering that the double-piston compressors are usually much more expensive than the single-piston ones.

Finally ine that fits the caliper area as many of the small ones are not large enough to meet the caliper frame when compressing the brake plungerMake sure that your piston cup is the kind that can be pushed back into your caliber and if you see two slots cut into it do not try to force it with this tool because it’s the wrong kind you need the tool that actually has male slots that would fit on the Cut to Wine back the piston part of the brake caliperThis is for simple brakes, not the fancy kind

Just used this on my HHR and it worked perfectly. So much easier than using a C clamp. It is built well and should be durable enough to last a while. Well worth the money.

If you find yourself doing brakes even some of the time this is a must have tool for your box. Used it for brakes on 2014 Silverado and it easily compressed the caliper with no issues. The handle feels good in your hand and does not cause any pain that some other ones have. Feels very solid in your hand and well built. Doesn't cost a whole lot and worth having the right tool to keep you from messing up an expensive caliper.

I don’t have any question now that I can handle any size brakes. I’ve shifted between using C clamps and pry bars and you can see the smaller spreader , and I’ve never really jumped on the big spreaders cause they either were too small for just limited brakes(think more one piston style or the newer for piston or even the big performance six piston units )or they just didn’t feel right and I was just as good using what I’ve been using, but these are something else again. There are so nicely built in the hand now I basically just got more jobs and use them more. I really like them. Also another quick thing that I really like is you’re able to one handed reset them, just use the one hand to set and put them in I’ll show you a picture
