I am not a huge handyman kind of guy but I do engage in some DIY projects from time to time like small repairs on vehicles and small appliance repair. I was thinking that this would be helpful for the occasions where a bolt gets stripped or damaged somehow and I need to replace a specific one. Instead of bringing a bolt to the hardware store and trying all sorts of different nuts and whatnot for size, I would now have a reference for that at home and quickly find the correct thread and size that I would need. I discovered though that while this does offer good variety for both standard and metric, the bolts that I have encountered have been a little less universal than I had thought and this didn't necessarily help with my particular applications. However, for someone who is frequently working with the machined bolts that this is intended for, this would be a great option.

I was apprehensive but i bought it anyways. Tried it on a few fasteners i have laying around the shop and i gotta say, thread fitment on this is on point. Definitely a go to in the shop now. Has some gravity to it too! Always a good thing if it has some weight to it. :)

This bolt thread checker is a lifesaver! Having so many different sizes in one place is super convenient. I used to waste so much time digging through drawers trying to find the right one. Now, I can quickly identify the thread size and get on with my project. Highly recommend this to anyone who works with bolts!
