The safe fits my needs nicely. Is spacious and has enough shelving. I cannot say whether it is fire or waterproof and am not willing to test it, since the door is not very thick. You probably get what you pay for, but I am not disappointed. Having separate keys is a bonus since I don’t have to worry about the key pad malfunctioning

Good size for what I was looking for - perfect for storing precious metals, cash, or electronics. Setup was straightforward. Seems pretty sturdy, durable, and secure - especially if you anchor it.

If you buy this "safe", be sure you understand what you will receive. This is a locking steel box. I guess calling it a SAFE is accurate, but calling it FIREPROOF is very misleading. There is no insulation and/or double steel wall to protect the contents from the heat they would be exposed to in a building fire. Steel should not burn in a house fire so the box is probably fireproof. The contents of the safe would be exposed to extreme temperatures. I purchased two of these "safes" for my mom and nephew to secure documents and valuables. This is not acceptable for the intended purpose. Furthermore, I don't think it is possible this steel box could be waterproof. Both cartons have been thrown away so I cannot return. I will keep one of the steel boxes for storing cleaning chemicals I want to keep away from the grandchildren. My nephew chose to keep his but will not use it for the intended purpose. What I consider a true safe should have fire and water ratings. For example, UL Classified in a fire for 1 hour in up to 1700 degrees F and ETL Verified water resistance to protect valuables in up to 8 inches of water for up to 24 hours. I should have done more research and been more careful! Buyer Beware.

This safe is very durable and secure, after installation the safe will sit firmly and won’t budge an inch! The lock is very secure and ensures that your valuables will be protected at all times. Very easy to install as well! 10/10 product!

Compré esta caja fuerte confiado de que iba a ayudar a proteger mis cosas de valor. Decidí no no abrir el empaque de la caja fuerte cuando llegó para protegerla, ya que estaba esperando a que terminara la construcción de la casa para instalarla. Grave error.Cuando la abrí, todo el sistema de llave estaba suelto, sin funcionar.Traté de devolver el producto, era ya muy tarde.Comparto esta reseña para que no le pase a mas gente lo que me pasó a mi. Cuiden los proveedores para temas tan delicados como estos de seguridad y, una vez comprando, siempre revisen lo que les llega.

The safe’s appearance, quality, durability, and functionality meet my expectations. Appearance-wise, I love the black and gold color along with the interior and exterior design of the safe. Regarding its quality, the safe is very well-built and in mint condition. It’s also extremely durable, shown by its thick structure, which makes it difficult for any person to break into the safe. Furthermore, you aren’t forced to utilize only one method to open the safe. You can either use both the master and emergency keys to open the safe or enter a passcode. However, the safe must be powered on before you can enter a passcode or else it won’t work. There is plenty of room inside the safe to store your valuables. A separate compartment that requires another key to open exists inside the safe which provides another sense of security in case the safe does get breached. In situations of a fire breaking out or a flood, the safe has a fireproof and waterproof bag to protect your valuables. Setting up the safe isn’t very difficult. You only need to follow the instructions on the manual and you’re good to go. This was a worthwhile purchase.
