Malfunctioning lock on first use turned into a vacation mess. Received product and was happy with design, but found combination dials challenging to manipulate. Followed instructions to change combination. Tested multiple times and it seemed to work well. However on first use on vacation lock malfunctioned.after securing phones, credit card and a little cash in the safe. The cable was easily unlocked no matter what combination was used. Even worse, the safe would not open with the correct combination. We could not access our most important belongings the entire day at the beach. What a disaster. Also, had to find a screw driver at the hotel to pry open and thus destroy the safe to get our stuff. We do not return to the U.S. until after the return period, so we are out the money and have no safe to use on vacation. I would not chance it with this product. Very disappointed customer.

In generale è composto da buoni materiali e da la sensazione di essere resistente. Pensavo fosse piu' pesante ma rimane molto leggero. Prima di comprarlo (Grazie Amazon per il buon prezzo trovato) mi sono imbattuto in alcune recensioni (probabilmente di vecchie versioni? o che avevano difetti?) sia qui che nella rete che vorrei sfatare: come nelle foto si può notare non ci sono spazi tra i numeri dove è possibile vedere e capire dove si fermi il pistone sul numero della combinazione scelta e la seconda non si apre nulla se non stati inseriti tutti e 4 numeri (in rete ho visto filmati dove riuscivano ad aprirla anche con 3). Per me, anche se con poco utilizzo, è un prodotto valido.

This small and not drastically heavy box lets me have a little extra security. I don't trust hotel safes and prefer to use this Lock Box. The dials are a little stiff, but the box is well made and sturdy. Very small amount of valuables like credit cards, money and passport, perhaps some jewellery or a watch will fit in nicely. I don't always use the wire to attach it to some post, just a safe wallet (that does not even look like a wallet) with secure lock, so not to tempt an incidental thief.

This is not the sturdiest thing in the world, With that said: I didn't buy this to be a super secure thing like a gun safe; I bought it because I had a roommate who kept inviting her drug addict friends over and my rx meds got stolen a few times. So having this, especially with the bike-cable-lock attachment point, meant I could put my meds in there, lock it to my bedframe, nightstand, or similar, and people decided it wasn't worth the hassle and left it alone, which is all I wanted.My biggest complaint is that it's not designed for pill bottles -- most of them don't fit, esp if you have more than one. But it does fit a couple of them and other small things and that may be all you need.Now that I no longer have a shady roommate, I pretty much just keep this in the trunk of my car. It's small enough to carry around one-handed and stash in a drawer, and it also just helps you keep your stuff separated from everything else if you're in a situation where you're, for example, sharing a hotel room with friends or whatever and you don't want to have to sort throughout your medications in the bathroom at the end of the trip. It's sort of like a clutch purse, maybe a little bigger than you might expect for something like that but very similar in size and style at least in my opinion, and it fits easily in a bag, backpack, or suitcase pocket.Also, it's really easy to change the combination once it's open, which has not always been true of other lockboxes I've tried -- I've had to return a couple because I wasn't physically strong enough to access the mechanism to change the combo.I wouldn't recommend it if you were really trying hard to keep someone from accessing your stuff because I feel pretty certain you could break this thing without too much effort. In fact, right now as we speak I'm looking into buying one that is more secure, larger and capacity, and harder to break into because that's something that I have to worry about more now. But if what you're looking for is just some basic security, it's a good buy and has lasted me for a few years with no issues.

This Master Lock Safe is SO COOL. I purchased this after some little punk stole my cell phone at a park. I set my phone down on a table for maybe five minutes while I was doing something, and a kid walked right off with it. People seen him but did not say anything until after because they thought it was his phone. Living in a bigger city now I decided that I should invest in this product since my boyfriend and I go to public parks often.The Master Lock Safe arrived on time and in a sturdy box. It is bigger than I expected, and I love that! I can fit all my necessities in there. The product details say it is water resistant too, and that was put to the test the first day we got it! My boyfriend and I went to the skate park and locked it to a bench. While it was locked up it started sprinkling and the safe got wet but my phone and everything inside was perfectly dry. There is even a tee-tiny hole on each side that you can run your headphones through if you want. The combination was easy to set and the buttons on it work fabulously. The inside of the safe has a foam like material that helps keep your stuff from banging around. I especially like how it has a lot of room to put your belongings in, but at the same time once its closed up its slender enough I can fit it into most of my purses and it fits in my boyfriends backpack perfectly. It is very lightweight for its size too; and it seems like for being plastic on some parts it would still hold up fairly well. Someone would have to really work on it to bust it open I think. The lock looks impressive but I'm a little worried about the hinges on the other side. I wouldn't use this for an at home safe, because I need something a bit tougher and bigger than this for my home. But it is perfect for setting your stuff down and locking it up at a playground, water park, fair, party, untrustworthy roommate situation, work, etc. Overall this is an excellent portable safe, and I would recommend to others.
