It is what it says it is and it's cheaper than what Fox is asking. I did manage to slip off and damage the nut slightly and it left me wondering if the aluminum version isn't made out of aluminum to help protect the nut rather than steel on steel like this one.

It's pretty easy to write a review about this socket. It's supposed to be flat topped so it doesn't mess up the aluminum cap on the shock, and it is.It's supposed to fit a 28mm hex cap, and it does. It's supposed to have a 3/8" drive, and it does.It just works. (and that's a good thing)

Solid, well-made. Useful for Fox 36 to add/remove spacers 👍🏼

Needed this to remove a spacer. Worked like a charm. Nice construction made out of steel with CNC prices. 26mm fits perfect for my fox 34 2023 model year.

Switched my Pike to coil and the 32mm fit my ACS-3 top cap. Will get used during maintenance and seemed well made all things considered. A bit pricey though.

The size is correct. The problem is that the 32mm nut on the Fox 36 fork is very shallow and has very little room around the edges. Due to the outer thickness of this socket, it hits the crown and does not sit flush on the nut. You might get it to turn, but you'll likely cause damage. I decided to pay the extra couple bucks for the proper tool. Forks aren't cheap.

Did what it needed to do. Tolerances are not great. The socket was a loose fit on my fox 36 top cap. I was a bit worried it was going to round it out but it didn't and torqued down fine afterwards. If you are servicing your forks often stuck with the park tool set.

This came in a lot heavy and nicer than I expected. It fit the 26mm air cap perfectly on my Fox34. I made sure to press down on the ratchet to not allow the socket to slip and was able to remove my aircap that I had previously marred up using a wrench, bad idea. This thing is worth having to not mess up your fork cap! Only small thing I would suggest is having some knurled or textured area on the socket to hand tighten or loosen to prevent additional damage after the initial torque to loosen. I had a 3/8" extender that has textured grip I attached to hand tighten with the socket before using a tool to do the final bit of tightening. Recommend not torqueing down too much as it is not necessary - air will not be lost but makes it easier opening to swap out volume spacers. Great buy
