This is a really high quality aftermarket set of crossbars, and they come with super friendly instructions and markings to make the install a breeze. The design includes mechanisms to avoid wind noise too which is common on many aftermarket bars. Highly recommended!

GET M6-40mm BOLTS! Here are the measurements I took with my measuring tape (estimations).Front of bolt to Start of Rail: 3/4 in = 19.05mmRail: 1.25in = 31.75mmFront of bolt to end of rail: 2in = 50.8mmThe ones that come with it are 14mm and 20mm M6 bolts. 14mm are fine cause they go into the bar and ends. But the 20mm go into the end holders and into the side rails. They go in but not deep enough. You will need longer bolts. 40mm is perfect. Then you will have the 20mm left over and I recommend using them in the 14mm area. Just to have better support, stability and peace of mind.The Installation was simple, not easy but simple. It’s a tedious process cause I don’t have a hex wrench socket. Just used the included tools. Worked perfectly fine. But once installed they look dashing, especially on a black Pilot. These blend in perfectly. Showed my mom and friends and they said these look Stock. Haven’t tested them yet as far as loading something in there, but I’m confident they can hold a good amount of weight.Very happy with them.

Received used roof rails. One of the rail has multiple scratches. Not happy with the seller at all.

So glad I went with the heavier-duty cross rails for my 2022 Honda Pilot. They are definitely going to handle anything I need to carry. The all-aluminum construction is great, versus other brands with plastic parts. It came quickly and was packaged very well. Instructions were dummy-proof and easy to follow. All parts were well-marked with where and how they fit for install. An allen wrench was provided along with extra parts in case you drop or lose something. If you have a rachet allen wrench, it will make the install faster and easier. They recommend two people for install so the paint doesn't get scratched, but I put a tarp on the roof, which protected the paint and made it easy to complete by myself. I would highly recommend this set of cross bars, they are well worth the few extra bucks.

We don't frequently mount gear on the roof so I didn't want to spend a fortune. At the same time, I didn't want a piece of junk, especially something that is attached to the top of your car going down the highway at 70 mph. After comparing various options and checking reviews I discovered this set of cross bars for our '24 Pilot TrailSport and they seemed to be the perfect balance of quality and price. The components are all solid aluminum - no plastic other than a protective bumper strip on the top of the bars. All components were well packaged and arrived without any scratches or other damage. Installation is straightforward although the printed instructions fail to mention the adhesive foam gasket pads at the rail mounting points. Fortunately, it's both intuitive these should be installed and also there are several YouTube installation videos that point this out. The components are marked with both printed stickers and also arrows molded into the brackets indicating installation orientation. The end result is confidently sturdy and good looking as well. While not absolutely required, it is helpful to have two people for installation to avoid any paint damage to the roof.If I had any complaint, it would be the screw hardware provided. The screws seem of decent quality and I did not encounter any concerns of length as a few other reviews seem to mention (though it's difficult to know if they were installing correctly), but the shiny stainless finish kind of stands out against the black finish of both the roof rails and these bars themselves - I would prefer black screw hardware to be included. However, if this is the extent of concern with a product of this type then that shows how good it is overall. A few screws are cheap at the hardware store if I desire to swap them out (or simply apply some dark nailpolish to the screw heads).While we have not yet carried anything substantially heavy or oversized like canoes, we did use it to bring our Christmas tree home recently. The solid aluminum construction of these cross bars would seem to suggest their 200+ lb rating is accurate. While anything mounted to a vehicle's roof will create some additional wind noise, I have found the 'winged' type swept oval design of these cross bars fairly quiet and certainly not obtrusive.In general, I am satisfied with these cross bars and would suggest them to others.

These cross bars fit perfect on my 2021 pilot. it came with all the tools. The only problem we had was during install it was summer and out side. So brought out some old blankets to cover the car to protect the roof and not burn our selves on the car top. First trip use was with my old sears 20 gal car top carrier. mounted with ease, and had no problem with it loaded to over 200bls of gear. Have used it with our kayak racks. with up to 3 kayaks up top with no problems. they are going strong. There has been an increase in noise from the top of the car with the racks. ( note: we do have the sun roof) but it is slight and only noted because I'm listening for it. The square or round bar racks I have used in the past, make a lot more noise than these.
