Most stands I have put up, I have been able to do by myself. Not in this case. It is extremely top heavy. I would say that 65% to 75% of the weight is in the top. While the Grizzly Grip Safety System seems like a good idea, it didn't seem like it provide any additional sturdiness or structure than other stands I have used. You can achieve the same affect than that of a couple of good rachet straps.A couple of the rungs on the ladder bent slightly the first time I used it. I only weigh 215.I used it for a season and decided to move the stand. During the move, multiple pieces broke or bent. One of the arms that extend from the ladder to the tree, one of the support braces for the platform and the support for the seat make the seat unusable and the making the stand have a slight lean. In my opinion some of the metal that they used is cheap. Ladder rungs, seat and platform support braces should be upgraded to something more sturdy. That being said it is one of the most comfortable stands I have ever used and has some nice amenities, like a cup holder, hook that I used for my backpack, comes with a safety harness, and a very comfortable shooting rail. It's a good stand if you just want to put it up and never move it. However, I'm not sure how long it would last since some of the metal seamed cheap. I've only had it for the one season only time will tell. If you like to move you stand around a lot don't get this stand. Also this is not a stand that you should try to put up by yourself. It does mention not putting it up by yourself in the instructions. In my opinion, it is one of the most comfortable stands I have used but they need to use better steal and Grizzly Grip Safety System isn't needed.

I absolutely love this stand but it is the noisiest stand that I have ever used. Can move it it because it creaks and cracks!Come on now for this kind of hard earned money you can do way better than this!

I will start by saying that this really is a nice stand. And I am well aware of the fact that most stands Are a little tricky to put up. However, it did not arrive with all of the parts needed to assemble it. We had to purchase several screws nuts and bolts as there were not enough in the packaging to complete assembly. Also be aware that the bar that the seat rest on only barely covers the other bars that they are supposed to rest on for your seat to rest on. Mind you for sitting on it being 20 something feet in the air was terrifying when the seat automatically fell through. We are going to play something underneath it to correct it, but aside from the above mentioned details it is a nice stand.
