Replaced main router which I needed to put on the front ground floor, in the farthest corner of the house, due to faulty/lossy CAT 5 wiring to the network closet in the center of the house. With this, I lost connectivity to the middle and back of the house. The house walls are 60 year old, thick, lathe and plaster. There is a wire mesh in the lathe-which blocks signals very effectively. I used this extender, plus one other, to get all the way back to the back of the house. Great installation instructions - very easy to connect!

Great product, I have terrible reception in my house. My internet is wireless as well as only cell phones and no hardline. Internet providers are very limited. I was going to go with a poor internet company because my TV would just continue to buffer and I had to go outside to make a call but saw this product on Amazon and thought I’d give it a try. All I can say is WOW!!! Works in perfectly. No more buffering or dropped meetings and calls. I’m incredibly impressed. Easy to install. Unbelievable! If you’re having the same issues I had this is the device for you

We have a 1650 sq ft home and our router is on one side of the house. This extender did not work well through our older plaster walls. May work better if you have thin drywall. We had to put it very close to the router to get a strong signal so we couldn't even set it halfway between the router and the dead zone. Setting up on my mobile was wonky. When you make a settings change, you have to wait 60 seconds to take affect. But every time I changed a setting, the device would lose internet and the signal lights turn off and never come back. After 60 seconds, I can't connect to it anymore and the device login page is unreachable. Then I have to reset it and start over. Went through that 4 time before throwing my hands up. I strayed from a reliable brand to try this one, but will be going back to TP-Link.

I have changed from Cox to AT&T fiber internet . I am very happy with a high speed of AT&T but unfortunately a router/ modem in a dem room is far away from bedrooms. My son complained me signal in his room is very weak. I bought this model CF-XR182 to solve problem. I used WPS setup and just one second 2 names of extender displayed in the wifi list: one is 5G and the other is 2.4G with the same password of original wifi. Very fast and simple. My son is very happy with strong signal now.

Wireless box was freezing up, had Take a picture of the screen.telephone company out He suggested I should get an extender. After reading the reviews I picked out the 2023 WiFi 6 Range extender. The setup was easy, connection eliminated the dead zone. Wireless box now works excellent with the extender.Would really recommend this extender.

What I liked about this device1. Very simple to set up with my mobile. Without....installing an app. Loved this part.2. Gave me the coverage I needed to get my office online.3. Small enough to not be an eye sore plugged into the wall.Why did I purchase it?1. Had to get a new gateway from Xfinity and the coverage wasn't great. The Xfinity gateway is at the back of my house and wasn't able to cover the devices towards the front.

I had a different brand that lasted for years but finally died. Checked the price on it for 2023, and it was nearly $300. So after reading reviews of this model, I purchased it. It is excellent and actually better than my old one. Better wi-fi now throughout our home. Easy to set up, too - important to me. I know $100 isn’t exactly cheap, but you won’t be sorry.
