Warning, no thin shim provided with this kit. If you decide to use a razor, it WILL crack your screen. Screens for the iPad Air cost as much as a refurbished iPad do it’s not worth the trouble.

Changing the battery on an iPad Pro requires the skills of a professional so I hired local experts to change the battery, but yesterday, Monday August 30, he called me to tell me that the battery was not charging the device that it may be defective. He said he could replace it with a different battery for $40 plis the agreed $100 labor charge. I paid $22 for the battery from Amazon.I will return the battery.

I don’t believe this battery delivers the advertised capacity. I replaced the original battery because its capacity was noticeably reduced. After replacing the battery with this one, it is no better. I need to recharge it every after only moderate usage. I would not recommend this battery.

I have done a few of these and thought I would save a few bucks by buying an Amazon Day deal battery for about twenty dollars (USD). I did the replacement and it just flashes a white screen with the black Apple logo on and off and on and off. Google is telling me that its probably a defective battery...
