Very happy with these butt connectors. Very easy to crimp and the heat-shrink works as intended with some heat applied. Just be sure to use a good quality crimping tool and you won't be disappointed. I only needed the 22-16 sized connectors, but nice to get a variety of sizes in case they are needed in the future.

I was skeptical of the quality when ordering because of how much cheaper they are versus the small packs at the auto parts stores but was very impressed when I used them to wire up some lights and a switch panel!

These are the good heat shrink butt connectors. This is good good valve than the alternative of buying them at the parts store.

I bought a NAPA auto part that came with two butt connectors included. As I was making my last crimp, the wire slipped out of the connector (my error). I bought this kit to replace that connector.I will acknowledge that there is one image in the listing for this item that says "crimp with a professional crimper" and shows a vice-style crimping tool. I went ahead anyway with my multitool's crimper, which had no trouble with the connectors that came with the auto part, that I assume are more of a "commercial grade". Crimping the NAPA connectors required a decent squeeze. The Amazon connectors required very minimal pressure, and didn't feel like I was really pressing down on the wire.The first 2 attempts, the wire just pulled right out of the crimp. I was following instructions I found online to crimp between the mark in the middle of the connector and the wide part of the connector. However, on the third connector, I crimped right before the wide end of the connector (right at the end of the metal tube) and the joint held up to tugging. This was for a red connector with a 16 gauge wire, which is the largest wire that the red connector is intended for.So I can't give any experience on whether these work flawlessly with a "professional" crimper, they did not work as consistently as the NAPA connectors with a multi-tool crimper. Both ends crimped properly once I figured out to crimp right at the end.
