Looks great but tubing and wire coating will melt before solder melts. Maybe I’m not clever enough to make them work but I would not recommend them. If you want water tight connections, use crimp connectors with a shrink sleeve covering.

Got these for extending ceiling fan wires in down rods and have been very impressed. Have had others on site doubting they would work and they were extremely shocked that they work perfectly. Very happy. Invested in a small heat gun off Amazon as well to use them so we don't have to carry a large one around. Very pleased with these.

Unless you have a specialized heat gun, you aren't going to be able to melt the solder before the plastic melts. these do make good shrink tubing though. I soldered by hand with a soldering iron and then slid them over the solder joint. Much better seal than shrink tubing and its water tight. So.... they aren't useless, but they may not be as user friendly as one might hope.

I highly recommend this product it is so easy and convenient to use you don't have to get a soldering gun out nothing you just get your heat gun out he didn't tell it the solder melts inside shrink it down and you're good to go very strong hold I recommend it over and over and over again.

I’m about to use the solder seal wire connectors and had trouble understanding what the purple size is but it looks like it’s 14 through 12 gauge. It’s a struggle to read dark text over dark background.For the merchant, if you look at the images to compare your design, to what is more appropriate, my design, you’ll see that it’s easier to read white text or a lighter text over a dark background. I cannot see black Text over purple and I’m sure most people cannot, especially at the small font size you have in the design. Your graphic artist is doesn’t understand color. This is important to people who are colorline, higher contrast is better, and perhaps, with the exception of dyslexia, perhaps not, but you have to look into that and do some research.This is just feedback for your design team for constructive criticism. I still have to use the product, but I’m sure it will work out fine. Thanks.

I am an engineer so now how solder works, I thought this product was too good to be true, and sadly it is, tried to join .75 wires as per video solder melted as expected however far to hot for the heat shrink. Any way let it cool tested the joint it failed anther con from China ! Beware don’t buy this junk

Excessive but let’s be honest we need them.It’s mental to think you can buy a kit like this for cheaper than just buying the few you need.Fair to say I’ll be leaving the majority of these in my will but the ones I needed worked well.The solder didn’t work the same every time and 1 or 2 needed more heat than others though.
