About this item

  • PREMIUM SOLDER SEAL RING: Tubing reduces in size, the enough solder will melt and flow through the stripped wires, ensure a long lasting connection for your application
  • BETTER WATERPROOF SOLUTIONS: Double wall design, Hot Melt Adhesive inside ensures wires strongly connected and prevent wires slipping from the terminal; Polyolefin outside tubing provides insulation and improves pullout strength
  • ABRASION RESISTANCE HEAT SHRINKABLE TUBE: Premium tube materials are specially designed to be used in harsh environments. Protect the wires and cables from abrasion, cutting, scuffing and low impact situations
  • EXCELLENT WIRE CONTACT - The tin barrel provides increased current flow, and ensures less voltage drop, preventing wiring failures and reducing equipment downtime
  • WIDE APPLICATIONS: Excellent stability, water resistance and electrical conductivity provide durable connection for motorcycle, off-road vehicles, lawn tractors, RVs, fish finder and marine application. Widely used on multiple projects of your Christmas lights, ships with high waterproof requirements motorcycle stereo, boat electronics, equipment switches

They work decently just be careful not to overheat with lighter or will melt before solder even melts which has happened a few times which can be annoying.

The shrink tube works great, the solder not so much

I have used several of these connectors for different projects, including adding accessories to my RZR and fixing various appliances around the house. One of the standout features of this kit is its ease of use. The solder seal connectors create a strong, waterproof bond without the need for complicated crimping tools, making my work faster and more efficient. These connectors provide a secure connection that holds up well, even in tough conditions. I was particularly impressed with how well they performed when used on my RZR, where they faced exposure to vibrations, dirt, and moisture—yet the connections remained intact and reliable. For appliance repairs, the heat shrink design ensures a tight, insulated seal that has given me peace of mind knowing that the electrical work is protected.Overall, this kit has proven to be an invaluable addition to my toolkit. Whether for automotive, marine, or household electrical projects, these connectors have consistently delivered quality results. If you need dependable, high-quality wire terminals that are waterproof and easy to use, I highly recommend giving this product a try.

They make things a little bit easier, & clean looking.I just now finally got to put them in use, in glad I got them, because I do not own a soldering iron any more, all I needed was a heart gun( or a lighter)

These make repairs so quick and convenient. I always prefer to solder rather than using a basic butt connector. I have employees that aren't sure how to solder, and these are perfect for them. The built in heat shrink makes them even better. They are so easy to use. Just make sure you have a decent heat gun. A hair dryer is not going to cut it.

Re wired an classic car all the way to installation of switches on modern cars these little connectors are just superior to the butt crimp. Fast and easy to use altought some connector seems to have less solder., Cold weather of tight space this thing is just above and beyond better than soldering.

Good idea but these are let down by the lack of solder in the middle. Solder content needs to be 3-5 times more as when heated the amount of solder just isn’t enough to run into the connection properly

My god these things are the best invention mankind has ever come up with. Seriously whoever invented these should have a statue made of them and put in every town in the country. If you do any kind of tinkering or electronic repair, or just like to mess with stuff you NEED these in your life. I’ve been a tinkerer all my life, I like nothing more than fixing and messing with electronics and have been soldering for about 30 years but these are a game changer. Just strip the ends of the wires and push each end into the correct size tube and heat with whatever you use, I use a gas powered Dremmel portable soldering iron. The solder strip in the middle melts and solders the wire and the 2 seal rings shrink and seal the wires from water. The joint is amazingly strong when done right and is very neat. These are great to use in tight places when you don’t have much room like when your working on a vehicle.I absolutely love these and will always have them in my tool kit from now on.

A great secure way to connect the wires just heat up the solder and securely does the job no mess

I bought these because I do a lot of guitar electronics, and I was just getting tired of soldering wires together, then applying shrink tubing. These things are great; but you have to know a few things.First, don't expect that the solder inside will melt as quickly as you see in the ads. It melts, but it takes a while. Remember to heat all around the diameter of the connector, not just one side, for a more even distribution of solder, and better shrinking of the tube.Second, make sure that the ends of your wires are both long enough to reach to the center of the connector. just slide the two ends past each other, then apply heat. Not only does the solder melt to solder the two wires together, but the body of the connector acts like shrink tubing, and the two rings at either end of the connector shrink to help hold the wires in place.Third: heat. It is tempting to use either a butane lighter or soldering iron tip to melt the solder and shrink the tubing, but don't do it. The connector will start to melt (soldering iron) or turn black (butane lighter) The soldering iron can also melt a hole in the connector, which kinda defeats your purpose. A good heat gun is quick, easy, and leaves the connectors looking pristine and perfect. (The heat gun I use is about $20 on Amazon.) A note, though: give time for the finished connector to cool down--like a minute or two--before you test the connection by pulling on it. Also, use the smallest connector that will fit the wires you're using. Using a larger connector may seem easier, but the smallest connector you can use will make perfect connections.I've used so many of these that I'm going to have to order more--only this time, I'm going to get the BIG box...
