They work great once you can get them on but they are hard to work with

These work well and easy to use on the elastic for my masks. Helps make it fit better and light weight. If u use Dritz Loop Turner to pull the elastic thru it is super easy!

So far these cord locks are amazing! I read a lot of reviews & was really on the fence about ordering. I have several masks that are too big/loose & needed the ear loops adjusted in order to fit properly.Because of a latex allergy most of my masks have the earloops made out of the same fabric as the mask making them a little thicker than traditional mask elastic. I found that these cord locks were easy to "install" and fixed the issue of the loose fit.The process was quick & easy. I slipped a bobby pin onto the earloop & then pushed the bobby pin into the end of the cord lock with the larger hole & out through the smaller hole pulling the earloop through behind it. It did take a little work to push it through but I think that's a good thing...it gives me confidence that it will hold well once I get the lock where I want it.I did position the cord locks on mine so that they are behind my earlobes rather than higher up on my ears....I wear glasses & found that this way the locks don't interfere with them.I hand wash my masks & I feel like these locks will hold up well.

I have been making masks with 1/8" elastic. The elastic fits through the hole but will just slide out with even a little pressure. Others have said if the elastic slips out of the end you should tie a knot in the elastic. This would work but then there is no reason to have a cord lock. ? The intent was to have some fine adjustments for masks for people who don't have the manual dexterity to untie knots.Would recommend for elastics larger than 1/8" (3mm) or in combination with some other jobbie.Product count, size, and colors were as described.

I've been using these with 1/4" elastic and they work great! It's easy enough to slide them around the elastic but not easy enough to slip back while wearing or even washing. My biggest suggestions is to use the video that's on this product page on how to get them onto the elastic. That part takes a minute or so but you'll get the hang of it!

These are so easy to use. I have a long door needle with a wide hole. I put both ends of my elastic about an inch in the hole of the needle. Next I push the cord lock on to the needle point up the shaft and pull through the elastic. Pop! It’s threaded. I pull the needle out and push the cord lock Dow the two strands far enough to allow me to sew my elastic ends to my mask. Perfect fit!

These little buggers are the best thing since sliced bread. I struggled with the “on size fits all” masks because they never fit everyone the same and the elastic was so uncomfortable - either too tight or too loose. I use a Bobby pin to pull the elastic through the cord lock and then knot the elastic. You can’t really feel them behind your ear and they keep a really strong grip on both 1/8” & 1/4” elastic.Arrived on time and in the advertised amount. Am absolutely ordering more.
