Bought these for home made face mask elastic ear loops. I use a large eyed yarn needle to put the elastics through the holes. Work great for adjusting.

pros:** the instructional video (all the way below the specs on amazon page for this item) was very helpful.**soft , comfortable behind the ear and barely visiblecon: * harder to get through thicker - inelastic strap( blue mask in picture 1 ).tip: ***during the struggleš, i found out it was easier to slide the silicone all the way down to preferred level when i pulled on the strap one at a time versus tugging on both as one thread( 2nd pic)

I bought some Skims masks which were too big or at least not tight enough for my liking. Decided to look up Amazon in hopes of finding ear adjusters that would actually fit because the masks purchased have wide ear loops. Thanks to the reviewers I decided to go with this particular product and I'm so glad I did. VERY easy to use! I just looked at the "how to" included in description pictures and was done in seconds and I'm certainly not a crafty one. I'm amazed at how easy I was able to fix my issue thanks to this four dollar product. Highly recommended!!

These cord locks would be great if you could get them on the elastic. They have a rectangular opening on one side, this is good, and a small circle hole one the other side, nearly impossible to get a loop thru. It came with a tool that looked like a hairpin but I donāt know how they thought that would help.

I made so many cute face masks for my grandchildren, which they hated to wear because the elastic around their ears was either uncomfortable or it slipped out of place. I have replaced the flat elastic with soft, round cord elastic which can be used with these toggles, assuring a more comfortable, adjustable fit. Now the kids don't mind wearing the masks at all, which is a great relief because they are heading back to school and must wear the masks all day. These adjusters are easy to use, even though they don't come with instructions. Just attach the cord elastic to each side of the mask ( I folded over each side of the mask and stitched it down, leaving it open on the ends to form a casing, through which I threaded the cord elastic, using the "hairpin" shaped tool included with the adjusters). Then take both ends of the elastic, and slip them TOGETHER through the round end of the hairpin. Then insert the two ends of the hairpin into the largest hole in the little adjuster and pull it through. It can be a little bit of a tug, but keep pulling. It works. Use a long enough length of elastic so you can then knot the two ends of the elastic to prevent anyone (especially young children) from sliding the adjuster all the way off.

I have all positive things to say about the product functionality itself, but sanitation of the factory making them? Not so much.First of all, my bag came with a little hair in it (refer to photo). Disgusting. Needless to say, I sanitized all the pieces with alcohol. Iām a little worried as to the kind of factory these are made in...However, the product itself did not disappoint. These were the only clear circular ones of its kind, and these work perfectly! Iām mostly using them on my homemade masks, and they have thin elastic- the kind of elastic used on disposable masks. They work well, but I put it behind a knot so I donāt accidentally lose these stoppers.These stoppers have successfully been threaded through much thicker elastic- I have one with elastic thatās the thickness of hair elastic (refer to picture) and it worked great! These are on snuggly that I didnāt need a knot behind the stopper.

Every time I buy cute fabric masks theyāre too big on me. Mainly because I have a smaller framed face. So I found these and saw that another reviewer claimed they worked for bigger ear loop masks. Bought them and they fit! It was a little bit of a struggle getting them on at first but these adjusters are soft and stretchy so they do eventually go on pretty well. I really liked the hair pin tool they give you as well. It really made it easy to get the adjusters on. Definitely recommend buying these for thicker fabric masks.
