Surprisingly good quality for the price! They are loud, sturdy and all the kids love them! We used them for a campaign giveaway at parades and they were a huge hit!

Shipping was fast, packing was adequate. The whistles are loud. Tone & decible would be equivalent to a coaches whistle (without the cork ball inside). My only issue is with a potential choking hazard. The body of the whistle is aluminum. But the body filler or reed is made from plastic. It is held in place with the friction of a snug fit. It can be pushed put of place with minimal effort. The hardest part to making the plastic come dislodged is finding an item small enough to touch it. A tooth pic will move it. A finger nail can touch & move it. A tooth that's the right shape & size is able to move it from the top. For adults & responsible children this would be a good emergency whistle. To hand out to a group of younger kids, that I am not going to be supervising or responsible for, the liability is too great for me to risk it. I would purchase again, just not for young children.
