Bought this for a wilderness survival kit. Everything works great, and will forever be attached to our hiking bags.

Mi aveva incuriosito questo kit di sopravvivenza e l'ho voluto provare dato che vado a fare escursioni in montagna e mi occorreva almeno il fischietto.Sinceramente sono rimasto un pò perplesso dai fischietti per il fischio che emettono che attento si sente sembra più uno sfiato e non costava nulla usare quelli a palline.La parte pratica è che si possono infilare nella cintura dato che c'è il passante, invece lo specchietto di sicuro potrebbe servire in certi casi estremi se solo fosse risultato funzionale.Inoltre troviamo una pezzolina di sicuro servirà per pulire gli specchietti (almeno credo).Per me è un kit del tutto inutile sopratutto per i fischietti.

This set is a good idea but didn’t quite deliver like I had hoped. One whistle didn’t really work. The other one can be pretty loud but I have to blow very hard on it. They have a sound that reminds me of toy train whistles. I will keep a mirror and whistle in my hiking backpack for emergencies. I was hoping the whistle would be loud without having to blow really hard, because I wonder how hard I’d be able to blow it if I am so injured I can’t hike out for help. Es de un color llamativo para que se pueda encontrar pronto.Flota en caso de estar en una emergencia en el agua.También se puede utilizar cuando estés organizando actividades con grupos para mantener el orden.El espejo, que no ocupa nada de sitio, al igual que el silbato, y tiene una cadenita para poderse, colgar en un llavero o en cualquier tira de cualquier Bolso, me parece que es algo que también todos deberíamos tener. Ya que no sirve para hacer destellos con su superficie reflectante solar, y es lo suficientemente rígido para que no se estropee. Además de tener un diseño muy bonito..Como ya he dicho todos deberíamos de tener este práctico, cómodo, pequeño y súper útil kit de supervivencia por un módico precio.

I ordered these emergency whistles and mirrors for me and my brother to have on hand while we were paddle boarding. I love that the whistle is on a lanyard, very easy to wrap around the bungee cords at the front of my board as well as the chain on the mirror which I also strapped to my board. Both the whistle and mirror are very necessary to have on our paddle boards in case we are experiencing an emergency and need to call for attention. Would recommend to anyone else venturing out on the water in a vessel or camping out in the wilderness. 10/10 would recommend

Es un set de supervivencia sencillo que nos podría ser muy útil en situaciones de emergencia. El silbato alcanza un sonido alto y cuenta con un cordón para el cuello ajustable de un color llamativo. El espejo está realizado en plástico, es de pequeño tamaño, pero podría venir bien para intentar realizar avisos mediante destellos.Mi sobrino y yo solemos ir a pescar con los kayaks y hay días que hay que entrar bien adentro en el mar para intentar pillar algo interesante. Siempre miramos previamente que haya buenas condiciones meteorológicas y nunca hemos tenido problemas, pero este kit ya forma parte de nuestras salidas ya que no ocupa nada de espacio y podría ser de gran ayuda.

This is a TWO (2) pack. The plastic whistle is easy to use and is loud. Has a 32" lanyard which can go around your neck. The mirrors come with protective film on both sides and there is a hole in the middle so you can look at the target you are trying to signal. The mirror has a small metal chain which I guess is meant to attach to the whistle lanyard, but I wish it was also made of fabric as those types of chains tend to break easily. But for $8.49 (as of this review) I am not complaining -WORTH THE MONEY I RECOMMEND

We go camping, hiking and use our stand up paddleboards on the lake quite often. I can think of several scenarios where having the whistle and mirror would really help to get someones attention. I’m glad there is not a dried pea in the whistle as they can get wet and dampen the sound output.The two-tone whistle and lanyard with spring-loaded adjuster is hi-vis orange, comes with a clip for inside pocket or purse and is LOUD!The mirror is small but comes with a metal chain, like one for keys or a pull chain for a lamp. In the center is a star that you can look through to aim toward your rescuers.This set of two mirrors and two whistles plus a polishing cloth is a good value and I’m glad I found it.Recommended and would buy it again

I got these for my kid to have in a less serious wilderness kit. The whistles are decent, and the lanyards are a nice touch that makes these easier to attach. The mirrors are a little cheap, but good for stashing in various bags and teaching the concept to kids. Overall, these are useful for less intense situations, and decent enough to be useful in an unlikely real life or death scenario. Decent price for what you get.

Questo kit di sopravvivenza può tornare molto utile durante le escursioni, il campeggio, la pesca e altre attività all'aperto.È composto da 2 fischietti con cordino e due specchi di segnalazione, per attirare l'attenzione anche a distanza, nel caso in cui ci si dovesse trovare in pericolo.Ho gradito anche la presenza di un piccolo panno, utile per la puliziaI fischietti sono realizzati in ABS di buona qualità ed hanno una potenza fino a 120 decibel; grazie alla presenza del cordoncino regolabile possono essere portati al collo oppure fissati ad una borsa, uno zaino, ecc..Gli specchi sono in plastica e misurano 5,1X3,8cm, dunque sono leggeri e facili da trasportare.In conclusione, si tratta di un buon prodotto, venduto a un prezzo congruo.
