These are great for distributing power and negative wires for sound systems. They are super simple to install as well

I ordered these as I was upgrading my car stereo. I got these to run multiple amplifiers in my car and these are small, fit in tight places and work well. No need to spend money for one of these with a well known name stamped on it, these work just as well and will save you money.

Can't really say what the core block material is. It's heavier than aluminum but where the plating is scratched or absent it has a silver color so I don't believe it is a solid copper. They're fairly heavy at just under 78 grams for their size and the screws are a gold plated steel. They look nicer than what I used as a teen and for what I wired then and wire now is more than enough. I don't really go beyond a high efficiency amp that does 500 watts so a single 0-4 gauge run from the battery to the cap and then from the cap to the distribution block and 2x 8 gauge from the block to the 4 channel and 2 channel amps gives a simple and clean wiring setup. There are a few minor complaints. Like why have 2 different sized hex for the terminals instead of just 1 that fits all 3? The cover is angled but gives the lowest clearance to the 0-4 gauge side which is likely going to be higher than the 4-10 gauge side. So those that are using larger wires the cover may not go back on as after about 65-70% of the cavity being filled the cover won't sit back down so you have to crank it down past that point. So be careful with condensing blocks or tinned ends that are more solid than basic stranded copper or CCA. But it should be otherwise.Overall outside these are decent little blocks that will help wire a multiple amp setup.
