As others have mentioned, the strips are consistent in width and thickness and are soft and pliable enough to make sturdy bags and rugs. Much higher quality than other batting strips I have purchased to use.

My wife has cut her own strips in the past to make a handbag. She is thrilled with this package of pre-cut strips. The strips are consistently sized and work great with a jellyroll of 2.5 inch fabric strips. The tube maker is a bonus – it works as a bias tape maker as well. This is a useful set for anyone looking to make quilted fabric strip crafts.

So far I've only used these batting strips for piecing together scraps but I like them so far. Good thickness. My machine doesn't seem to have any trouble with it. This is my first time buying batting in strips like this but it seems like you get quite a lot on these rolls. It is going to take me awhile to use all of this.

I wasn't sure if I would use these, but I had to know if I could. I watch a lady on You tube make a purse with strips of fabric and batting. If she can do it so can I.... My purse handles looks great. I wish I had thought of make handles like this before now. I'm still learning. Good quality and quantity!

I love making jellyroll rugs and this batting works great. I really like that it is 2 1/4 inch wide when using the jelly rolls which are 2 1/2 inch wide. It allows you to easily use the tool to fold over and sew without having to struggle with batting being too wide and not folding flat. The price point is great and you get 3 rolls so that's enough to make as large or small as you want. I made the round rug with 1 roll but in the past have made a larger oval rug and used a portion of a second roll of batting. I will be buying these again.

Batting has more of a cotton feel and look than polyester batting, seems denser than expected. It should work well as "stuffing" for braided rugs and quilting as you go projects.

These HexaHive 2 1/4 Inch Jelly Roll Batting Strips is exactly what you need to make jelly roll rugs. It is a polyester blend which I prefer because if it is all cotton, there is the big factor of shrinkage. The width of 2 1/4 inches is the width that you need to use with a 2 1/2 inch jelly roll. This is so much easier than cutting your own batting strips and reasonably priced for the amount of yards that you receive. I would recommend the HexaHive 2 1/4 Inch Jelly Roll Batting Strips.
