Your cart is empty.Bamboo Blend Batting w/Scrim is a soft blend of 50% Bamboo / 50% Cotton. It is needlepunched onto a very lightweight sheet of scrim/polypropylene. The scrim is lighter than most in the industry today, thus making hand quilting much easier, while adding strength for hand and machine workers alike. Loft: 1/16in, Shrinkage: 2-3%, Stitch Distance: 8-10in. Once used in a project, this batting is washable by machine or hand and is dry cleanable. Non-toxic, acid-free, and chemical-free.

I’m so grateful someone makes bamboo-cotton batting. I appreciate the cooling properties of bamboo and cotton and the sustainability of both.I ordered this to make cushioning for various things I use that irritate my skin. I am grateful for something that can add some loft while still allowing for some breathability.This batting is perfect for me!

While the batting seems lovely, I'm super confused and and a little disappointed. This is not the nature's touch, and also you may notice that on the material contents label there is no bamboo in the actual product? I'm going to give this to my mom but I really needed the bamboo for it's breathability in a costume project.

I like this for quilts that I want to be on the cooler side. Typically when I use Shannon Cuddle Fabrics, I like the bamboo batting in them.

This batting is very easy to quilt with. It is lightweight creating a lightweight quilt. I also like that it is made of bamboo a renewable source.

I bought this as I was intrigued with the concept of bamboo batting, and it was a good price. However, after reading the instructions, I am afraid to use it on anything other than a wall hanging. The instructions call for pre-washing, with the bold warning to "NEVER AGITATE!" during this process, nor while washing the finished quilt. First of all, I have never pre-washed a batting in my life and am not about to start now. Fluff in the drier maybe, but wash? Shouldn't this have been done at the factory? As for the "NEVER AGITATE!" admonishment - I'm sorry, but that's what my washer does, and that's how I wash my quilts. Hand washing a big quilt and laying it out to dry is way too fussy for me.I'd love it if someone else would review this batting as I would like to know what others experience is with it. Meanwhile I'll probably use it for something small and easy to hand wash, and at that point I will edit my review.

This batting was so soft and had a light feel. It was perfect for the voile fabric. Just what you need for a light weight quilt.
