The adhesion is absolutely terrible. Barely holds for even a minimal amount of time. Bookbinding tape is supposed to have strong adhesion, this is total garbage. Very low quality, cheap and ineffective tape.

This tape is great for repairing old books that are popping out of their covers. I wouldn't use it on a collectible, but if you just want to be able to read your book, this can't be beat. I used similar tape to repair books when I worked in the library, but this sticks better and costs a lot less that the tape we got.

Nice strong cloth tape great for certain repairs like book-bindings. I wish it came in a variety of neutral lighter colors.
