Absolutely the best carpet tape I've ever used. It is so strong I can see me using for other things that need a super-strong bind. You CAN use it to fix a rug on top of carpet BUT you have to be prepared to sacrifice the carpet underneath as it will almost certainly shred it if you want to lift it.I bought this to fix a rug to a carpet that will get replaced someday. I had tried regular carpet tape and various kinds of rug grippers, but the rug, which is underneath my office chair, kept rucking up and moving. This keeps the rug solidly in place with all the wheeling back and forth of the chair. Although I know I will never be able to lift the rug without ruining the carpet, that's fine since the rug will outlast the carpet.

Nice finish, easy to use. Even when you use multiple layers they blend. Feels secure, wish it was a bit thicker other than that great.

This is my go-to tape for the final.touches of the wiring I use on the backs of my paintings for hanging. It gives a profession quality to the finality of the artist’s work. I have tried other versions, and returned all of them. Nothing beats this product.

Works like a charm! Have just started to use this product for my book projects, and I will continue to use it. It’s sticky but not overly like duct tape. Purchased the 2 inch but can cut down to 1 inch depending on where I need it. So far, I highly recommend it.

I lost my mother almost 30 years ago. I have had her bible ever since. The cover had fallen off from years of wear. I was told that rebinding it would cost hundreds of dollars and possibly ruin some of the first pages. Those pages contain my mother's handwriting and I was unwilling to risk losing them. This tape is strong enough to hold the bible together and blends pretty well with the original cover! I couldn't be happier! Very easy to use and has strong adhesion.

I bought a used book that was in otherwise new condition except for the spine. Found this product and used 3 strips (two that went from the edges of the spine to the front and back and then one that covered both straight down the spine). The tape is adhering well and the spine is better than new! Looks and feels fantastic!

It behaved as described. I replaced the spine backing on a family treasure, a book of Kipling's Just So Stories, a volume published in 1914 that was totally coming apart. Before applying the tape, I clamped the pages together and sanded the spine to be smooth, exposing the edges of all individual pages. They now stay in place when the book is opened.

Very easy to use this fine tape…I used this tape to repair a beloved Bible… a gift years ago from a dear friend. …after years of use it needed to have the front, the spine & back cover mended. The tape seemed to be of very high quality & was v easy to handle… I was amazed at the outcome …was able to make little window for the gold-print title on the spine.What a pleasure to find a top quality product !that was even better than described! Useful not only for books, but for general repair where good adhesion and flexibility is required. I fixed bindings, guitar case... Also provides some padding over repair. Cut and trim with Xacto or similar blade - don't tear it - it will unravel at rough ends. Used in conjunction with Tacky general purpose craft glue to get good results. A roll will last a long time. Other colors are desirable.

This peeled off the next day without moving the book. I added more tape and it also was not adhesive and came off. I did not touch the book. I just used duct tape instead since it did the job.
