These priming bulbs look like exact replacements for Tecumseh and other engines, but the rubber is much stiffer and the pumping action seems not as good. Technically they do work, but next time around I will probably spring for the OEM parts.Installation is easier if you have a set of pick tools—looks like screwdriver handles attached to picks angled at various degrees. The retention ring is difficult to pry out otherwise.Be sure to keep the spring and tiny plunger from the carburetor when you remove the old bulb, and put them back in place before you install the new one. They fit inside the cavity behind the bulb.
