I picked up this caddy adapter to squeeze an extra SSD into a 3.5-inch HDD tray, and honestly, it was a great find. The kit’s price was right on the money, and it came loaded with accessories: SATA cables, screws, and even a screwdriver! (Seriously, when’s the last time a product came with everything you actually needed?)I was installing this in my trusty Dell Inspiron 3847, and the whole process took about 15-20 minutes. Having the extra cables in the kit was a lifesaver—no extra trips to buy a splitter or SATA cable. Bought this to update my two 3.5 HDDs to 2.5 SSDs. My case has quick swap trays for the 3.5 drives. The bracket included holds the SSDs great and is decent quality, but it's slightly too wide to fit in the 3.5 drive bays. I tried to force it to fit and had to apply considerable weight to force it in. I ended up ditching the metal bracket and using my existing trays with the included screws. Other than that, the cables and hardware work great! Getting the full speed out of my SSDs when I stress tested it.

This worked perfectly to help me house a smaller ssd drive into a larger 3.5" bay in my desktop computer. It comes with everything you need, including screws. The cables weren't needed for my project, but I'm sure they'll come in handy to have as spares one day. No complaints and I have this flagged in case I need to repurchase anther one later.

This kit is a great way to stabilize your 2.5" drives (instead of just by their cables, or with sticky tape)! I thought it a good value given the cost of the SATA + power splitter cables outside this kit. After ordering I notice some other kits include all-black splitter power cables as a nice touch but with clever CM it's not worth deducting any stars.

I like everything about it though in my PC HDDs and SSDs are suppose to be secured vertically not horizontally. The mounting bracket did not include holes for that contingency so I had to drills holes as a work-around. I appreciate the included wires as well as the small screwdriver and additional screws. A magnetic screwdriver would be advisable to handle the small screws.

These worked exactly as I needed them to. The cables were an awesome touch, too! I may have missed it when I initially ordered, but I was surprised to find one right angled SATA cable and a straight cable, so if you mount two drives in this, you have clearance between cables. The only complaint I have was it was a little difficult to screw in the drive closer to the foot of the enclosure, so definitely use a magnetic screw driver.
