I am always leary of new shelving as far as weight capacity and size. The all-metal construction definitely helps reinforce this and shed fears from being overloaded. Installs easily and feels solid.

This garage shelf is solid and useful for getting bins and gear off the floor, but calling it “heavy duty” is a stretch. The brackets feel a little weaker than I would like, and the decorative cutouts do not help. The adjustable mounting points are a nice touch, making it easier to hit wall studs. If you plan to load it up, skip the included drywall anchors and go straight into studs. It works well, but I would not push the full 250-pound weight limit.

This garage shelf is great. Assembly was simple enough but you need 2 people to hang it on the wall. It's heavy and too large to hold up yourself. It holds a good bit and what a great space saver. Perfect if you need the extra storage. The overall quality seems very durable and will hold up well over time. Overall, highly recommend !

I really like this shelving. To me, it feels more medium duty than heavy duty, but it’s certainly strong. The mounting brackets are separate from the shelves to allow for customizing their placement (wall studs). If you’re going to put any sort of weight on here, you absolutely have to screw into the studs. They’ve been good for getting a handful of Rubbermaid tubs off the garage floor. They’re good shelves

I have the weirdest walls in my garage so I didn't know how it was going to work out... I thought for sure it was going to be up there on the studs and the soapboard wall was going to sag visibly underneath ( a lesson learned with a dartboard a few summers ago) But it looks brilliant and seems to be quite sturdy!it was easy enough to get up there, and is holding all the decorations boxes, wrapping paper rolls and old bins of photo books with no visible effort at all!So if it goes on sale i may just find myself with a few more!

This Heavy Duty Garage Wall Shelf is wonderful! I recently inherited an entire house full of things that are now in my garage. Side note, my garage could be featured on Hoarders right now! This shelf helped to get some of those things off the floor, and out of the way. I have some pretty heavy totes on there, and it holds very well.

The quality of the shelf is solid. It is completely powdercoated (so safe for a humid garage/shed) and the welds look good. I would expect it to last. Will it hold 250lbs? Probably, but that number certainly doesn't include a safety factor. That being said unless you are storing unusually heavy stuff the shelf is plenty strong so not docking any stars there. What's nice about this particular shelf is you can move the mounting brackets exactly where you want them. In my situation this was useful because it let me mount it to the studs centered in a small closet where I otherwise would have had to use anchors. Since the shelf bolts to the brackets, not snap fit like other shelves, you can mount it somewhat awkwardly without worrying about it coming up off the mounts.I like that but I don't believe it justifies the current price tag so I have to give it a 4/5 due to a little lack of value.

This is a pretty good shelf if you have the time and tools to assemble it correctly. It has some odd hardware you may not be used to seeing in shelving kits, and the spacing for some of the connections was off enough I had to take some time to actually make things fit.The shelf itself is fine, sturdy enough metal for the weight rating and with what looks like a decent powder coating.I'm not crazy about the brackets, which don't really seem sturdy enough for the weight rating, especially with the useless letter cutouts that only weaken it.I'm also not thrilled with the hardware, especially the drywall anchors etc., which suggests to me they don't really expect this to hold 250 pounds, as I wouldn't use it in drywall if I want to hold that much weight.Because of the weak-looking brackets, I used my own screws to install this directly into wall studs in the garage. It does seem to be able to hold a pretty good amount of weight.Overall, pretty good shelf, but I wish they'd ditch the silly cosmetics on the brackets to make them more sturdy. Taking a closer look at quality control might be a good idea too with the machining/spacing issues.
