Great heavy duty shelves for the garage. These can handle a good amount of weight. The hanging hooks are nice little addition as i have some air hoses and other things hanging up and out of the way. Shelves assemble easily and great value

These wall shelves, in my opinion, are the worst thing I have ever had the displeasure of fooling with!First of all, I would just like to state that I think that this system just doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, especially for something that is supposed to hold up to 250 pounds. I mean, there are only two flimsy thin metal clips that hold the actual shelf onto the mounting brackets. This might work OK, but the provided screws are quite hard to get in because they have less than perfect threads and, the biggest problem is that the hex key that comes with it gets stripped as soon as any bit of resistance is met. Now you may think, why not just use your own hex key? Well, I of course tried that and was able to get them in a little bit more but then the head of the actual screw stripped out. I would also like to point out that at no point did I ever use a drill or electric screwdriver to try to put these in. I ended up having to use a Dremel tool and cut big slots in each of these so I could use a big flathead screwdriver to put them in.Another problem that I had with these shelves is that the included wall anchors were apparently not the right size and were too big for the bolts to grab, let alone expand. I had to use some metal spring wall anchors and bolts that I happen to have on hand and this finally worked.On top of the above problems, I have good reason to believe that these weren't exactly new, as there was caked on mud on one of the shelves. Perhaps this is why the above problems were an issue in the first place, though nothing looked damaged.The bottom line is that I cannot recommend the shelves and I would not have been so determined to put them up if I absolutely did not need them so quickly. They are fine now, but not after some modification to get them halfway secure.Perhaps this was a one time fluke, but judging from how all of the screws were this way, and how the shelf was able to slide fairly easy on top of the brackets, I kind of doubt it.

These shelves are heavy duty and as a result they are HEAVY. My main complaint is the packaging. These shelves require some beefy boxes to keep them in. My box was beat up pretty bad with a bunch of the shelves exposed when I got it.If you're gonna make heavy duty shelves. You need heavy duty packaging. The other negative with these shelves is the price right now on amazon.They're going for around one hundred and twenty dollars, and to me, for two wall shelves that just seems really expensive. However, these shelves are very well made, so you could argue that you're getting what you're paying for.So with that out of the way, let's talk about the things that I really like about these shelves.These shelves look great once they're assembled end up on a wall. The black anodized finish looks really nice. Also, these shelves are rated for eight hundred pounds! Which is great, but most of us are going to be mounting this on drywall. In our garage, and I would bet, there are walls in the garage are not rated for that kind of weight.Tips for installation: make sure that you mount these to a stud.Overall, these are really nice shelves and should last a long time. 4/5 Stars

He's hold a lot more weight and are more solid than flexi mounts brand. I've installed flexi mounts in the last two homes that I've owned. These are just much more solid and I love the hooks on the front. These are very easy to install once you found your center on your studs. Another option to mountain these is to mount a 2x6 onto your studs and then Mount these to the 2x6. Once these shelves are up and installed they're very solid.
