This product is good in concept. I ordered 2. One showed up nicely packaged but the shelf was dented, the other was in good condition. Note that the mounting bracket is too wide to anchor to a single 2x4.The included hardware is terrible quality - the drill bit is extremely flimsy and had trouble predrilling holes in a 2x4. I stopped trying to use the provided wall anchor screws after the 3rd one sheared off (each one only made it half way into the stud before breaking). I used some cabinet screws that worked perfectly.

It's a shelf and was easy to install. It also folds down and the mechanism to do that is easy. Placing The shelf top where you want is also pretty easy. The reason it only gets 3 stars is because1. The base that is screwed into the wall is too wide for a standard 2x4. So you'll only be able to get in 3 of the 6 screws per side into a stud.2. The screws provided are of poor quality. 2 oh the heads broke off while screwing them in, even though I pre drilled all the holes. And of course they don't provide more. If this happens on the last one going into a stud, you can either unscrew all and move the shelf, because of course you can't screw another screw where a broken one is already is. This comes with the risk of breaking more. Or just have one less screw supporting the shelf.3. Although it came with a drill bit and socket for the screws, there was no tool to attach the actual shelf top to the wall mounts. The instructions show some kind of tool, but it didn't come with this, so you'll need your own socket and extender, because it's a tight fit.

These are a heavy duty option that durable with nice finish. Great for a garage/ basement storage and it’s sturdy enough to hold up some pretty heavy objects. I store my tool bags on it and I haven’t worried about them.The shelves were fairly easy to install with some friend’s help for leveling. Came with fairly simple instructions. Shipped fast and packed very well.I have a set from a different brand, but it just doesn't feel as good quality. I'd definitely recommend this brand 👍🏼

I hung this up a few weeks back and I can't remember now if it had a printed jig that could be placed against the wall for installation. It wouldn't need on, it was very simple to install. The position of each folding arm could vary horizontally and the arms would still go under the shelf. As they were not fixed, it allowed for a lot of tolerance in choosing where to mount it (and to get on studs)You grab a level, decide where to put the arms, then place the shelf on them with their clever attachment method and it's done. It was very simple.

This is a solid shelf that is easy to i still. Can be folded.out of the way.if needed, though I keep mine functional.for my purpose.

Brackets are not designed to use all six bracket screws into wall studs. Schematic in the package shows studs installed with 4-6” surface facing out toward the wall/bracket surface. Shelf and brackets appear to be well made, excellent design, but will not hold 350lb load unless studs are sistered or other similar reinforcement is done.
