This product is a cheap piece of plastic that fell apart after two minutes of its initial use. My wife and I each tried to make dumplings, but it was so flimsy. It fell apart. After it fell apart two or three times we completely gave up on it because it had fallen apart and not one but two different places. You get what you pay for and this thing is cheap and it performs like a piece of cheap China junk. The only reason I didn’t give it a zero is because one is the lowest number permitted.

The dough sticks to it , can’t get the dough out without everything falling out. Poorly made, cheap.

Not worth it. Makes the empanadas break in the middle and was messy. Tried it more than 3 times but had to throw it away.

I thought this was going to be a nice edition to my bakeware, but the dough sticks to it. Made a mess, save your money

Fragile and does not work. Good size but it doesn’t matter if it doesn’t work at all.

My daughter(12y.o.) liked this dumpling press best because she liked how it sealed the potstickers shut but also trimmed off excess dumpling wrapper. This press as Lao allows you to flatten out homemade dumpling wrapper dough balls into the perfect thickness. Then you flop that to the other side, SAME PRESS & lever to seal the dumplings.Makes it simple to figure out best amount of stuffing too!Gotta be about 10 times faster than when we filled & sealed by hand.

I own a couple of other dumpling makers, both of which make the dumpling but don't have the added feature of a press for the dough. This one does and I've found it to work well for me. It's plastic and probably won't hold up to a lot of rough handling, but it worked very well for the dough I rolled out ... the disc was cut and then I used it to make the dumpling, taking care to not overstuff it. It took a couple tries to get the amount correct, but once I did, the dumpling came out perfectly sealed and looking nice. This dumpling maker not only works better than the other two I have, but it does more, so for now, this is my go-to. If I find it's not durable enough for its price, I will update this review.
