I set this up and tested it just enough to hear the relay clicking. I didn't test it under load, so I can't say anything about that. But the device is easy to configure and control, It's nice and compact, too.

This little smart module is excellent. Small enough to fit in the back of a single-gang wall box. The diagrams printed over the connections are very helpful, it makes installation a breeze. Having the NC relay contacts exposed is a bonus feature you don't usually see on the small modules like this. It's not high current rated, but if you use it with LED lights there's nothing to worry about. Hook up the legacy wall switch to the S1 terminal and you don't lose wall switch functionality when integrating your lights into your smart home. Very cool. The app is easy to use and widely compatible with various other services such as Alexa and Google Assistant but also SmartThings and Home Assistant.

This Smart Life-compatible WiFi relay switch exceeded my expectations in terms of ease of setup, functionality, and reliability. I installed it outdoors in a weather-protected enclosure, and it connected to my home WiFi quickly without any issues. The Smart Life app recognized it immediately, making the integration process seamless.Pros:✅ Quick and easy setup – Connected to my WiFi effortlessly and was instantly detected by the Smart Life app.✅ Dry contact relay – Ideal for automating garage doors, lights, or other circuits without passing voltage through the board.✅ Latching switch override – I appreciate the ability to add a physical latching switch for local control, making it more versatile.✅ Sturdy mounting bracket – The included DIN rail mount is a great addition, allowing for easy installation and removal from an enclosure or panel.Cons:⚠️ 2.4GHz WiFi only – Like many smart home devices, this relay does not support 5GHz networks, so ensure your router is set up accordingly.⚠️ Limited to 5A current rating – This is fine for low-power applications but not suitable for high-load circuits.Final Verdict:For $16.99, this relay switch is a great value for smart home automation. The combination of WiFi connectivity, Smart Life app integration, and a manual override switch makes it a versatile and reliable solution

Was a very good relay. I ended up using it on a project where I needed to be able to turn on and off for 24 volt switch. With my voice via Alexa this. little relay was able to provide that kind of functionality.

This little wifi switch works great. It's perfect for those situations where you want wifi control but still be able to use a traditional manual on/off switch. Note that it's limited to 5 amps. The device itself is tiny, just 1.5 inches square and .75 inches tall. This makes it easy to stuff in a standard junction box, right under a traditional paddle switch. There's also a little mounting bracket if you want to screw it into the box or on the wall. And, I really like that this switch uses the Smart Life (AKA Tuya Smart). The app is reliable and found this new device quickly. Plus, because it's used by so many other devices, I already had the app on my phone.

When I crank up the temp to 80 degrees on a 40 degree weather day, it kicks in the heater but in about 30-45 second heater shuts down. It ain't working.
