I've used a bunch of these in various projects . Re powering some older power tools, kids power wheels toys, a diy battery bank and so on. Works good for pretty much whatever you want to use a power tool battery on. Easy to set up and use.

I have a 24v LiPO4 solar system to power security cameras and driveway gate. I installed two of these - one to remove power from non-critical devices when battery voltage was low, and a second to disconnect the battery to prevent damage if the battery voltage was really low.I measured the battery voltage with a multimeter - one board was out by 0.3v, and the other by 0.7v (with battery voltage ~26v). There is no calibration function on this board. There are no instructions included, but I figured out how to operate it by looking at similar devices. One of the two boards stopped working after a couple of weeks, the second board has been working for a couple of months. There are much better voltage comparators available on Amazon - don't waste money on this one.

I bought this to protect my Milwaukee batteries in a power wheels swap. I have went through 4 charged batteries and the disconnect has worked perfectly (I wired mine with a relay). Watch a YouTube video for programming the voltage limits.

I purchased this low-voltage cut out for an electric cooler project that I was powering with Milwaukee M 18 batteries. The only complaint I have about these controllers is the fact that they do not turn off their own display when they cut power to the device. Keeping the display on continues to discharge the battery. These do work reliably and I think it is awesome that they show the current voltage of the item they are connected to. Do keep in mind that they do not turn off so if you are using this for a project where light is a concern these may not be what you’re looking for. Another note is that the circuit boards are completely uninsulated and you have to take this into account when mounting them to your project.
