this product does not stay on long enough to heat up my skillet to fry a egg, it cuts off too fast before getting the skillet hot enough, take longer to cook an egg

I really like how they have included a Killswitch on the side of this double burner. Just for added piece of mind I guess if you leave this plugged it, but the knobs will turn if you bump into them. They do not require a push or anything and rotate from off to level 2 very easy. Strangely, they both have resistance that sets in around level 3 through 5 and smooth back out. I'm not sure if that was intentional, but it's identical on both knobs with my copy. I would have preferred an even resistance but it's not the end of the world. The top plates of this burner are easy to clean as they are a solid mass rather than exposed coils. they do not turn red when hot, but you can definitely feel the heat radiating from them. I was able to bring 1 cup of water to a rolling boil in just over 5 minutes. Nothing to write home about but I'm happy with the performance. The stove has lights that turn on to indicate which burners are "heating up" not which ones are "turned on". The light clicks off once the desired temperature is met. It will kick back on once it has fallen beneath the desired temperature. Once again, I'd prefer the light stay on if a burner is "hot", but it's designed to turn on when it is "heating up". If you are a space cadet, then you may end up getting burned by this.Other than the few corks mentioned, I enjoy using this stove and even have a dedicated soft case that it stays in for easier portability and some protection too, I guess. I like to use it for car camping with a power generator or indoors when the power goes out.

Very convinient to have when all your burner are in use. Burner can be easily transported in and out of the house. Hot pot can be stored anywhere. Aluminum top is smooth and it is easy to clean. Extra burner is useful.

Great for the holiday meal prep! This adds plenty of space for 2 more pans or pots to help you prepare food easily for a crowd.it does use a lot of electricity, so I am not of the opinion that it would be good for solar batteries or in an RV, but in a "regular" kitchen, this would be very helpful.

Got this to use at my parents house mostly for when we grill outdoors. My mom always wants to make some of the dishes in the kitchen and not on the grill and misses out on family time. This way I set her up right next to me and she can do her little frying or boiling or whatever while I grill. Very easy to use. She is impressed by it. Great price also. Works great. Looks sleek.

I ordered this thinking this would be great to take tent camping/extra burner for holidays and it will be. My surprise was these two burners do really get pretty hot. You get a large and a medium size. They are pretty lightweight and portable. They are easy to use, its like having an extra set of burners so the real magic can begin on your stove. Its really like having a set of hands to help.Along with our camping stove, this will fit in perfectly when my husband and the kids want to do the whole "primitive" camping thing. In their heads camping stoves are primitiveI know that I am going to be using them a lot during the upcoming holiday season. There are never enough burners on the stove here. So now I can have these two burners one simmering the gravy while the other has mountains of fluffy potatoes.
