When I was totally ignorant about wire clothesline, I bought a cheap one. It had one steel strand, plastic covered. It kept stretching and twisting. I got fed up with it. A neighbor had a stranded cable. I searched and found some on Amazon. I needed small 1/8" diameter to fit our clothespins. I found this cable. I installed 4x6 x 8ft (above ground) posts with two bags of sackcrete per post. 4x4 x 8ft long crossarms hold 4 parallel stranded cables. This cable material lies limp, straight, and keeps proper length even under load.With four parallel cables each 20 ft, that's 80 feet of clothesline.We can load each cable with bedsheets, bedspreads, washrags and towels, or clothes all sorts. I bought long eyebolts to fit through the crossarms. Those bolts allow 6 inches adjustment per cable end, total 12 inches per cable. The adjustment clevises in this set adjust about 4 inches. I use them to fine-balance cables lengths. I am now pleased with our clothesline. We've had windy days when the bedsheets and blue jeans stood straight out sideways. The clothespins held around the small cable. The cable kept it's length and kept working.

Bought this set to string up outdoor lights in the back yard - mounted to wood and concrete - and used turn buckles, plugs and hooks. Let’s just say it’s chinesium metal at best! Everything broke after about half an hour. The biggest problem were the End clamps on wire gave out ( used vise grips and a strong guy to secure - didn’t work) , wire self stripped, hooks bent open, plugs didn’t perform. It definitely won’t hold up much more than itself. I will have to buy all new hardware made in Canada to make this happen!

I got to to use as anti sag support on some galvanized fence gates on my property. Worked great! Easy to install and seems tough enough to last many years (time will tell).

For my DY project, I installed some metal posts on my deck for a sunshade sail. After a few weeks I noticed the posts were leaning. I researched how to stabilize the posts and, after looking at other options online, decided on this kit. It is super easy to use for a beginner like me. It's a great kit to have around. You will need a wire cutter if you don't already have one.

I was skeptical with this and just how sturdy it would be but was pleasantly surprised. I used it to hang a shade cloth over my garden beds and it was super easy to use and build. Also is very strong.

Good quality and does what it's supposed to. I would also buy the cutter for the wire and a crimping tool. A good clean cut will save you a lot of time.

I've used this for a few things. Anchor my gate, a support line for my ladder. Anyway for the price is a great set to have. All the hardware has been durable so far.

The kit was good except for the clamps and clips which do not grab the wer through the coating well. I tried both the crimps and clamps and had several fail from the wire pulling through the wire coating. I purchased some u bolt style clamps that should help the issue.
