This wire rope cable is both strong and rust resistant, giving you a great option for adding nearly invisible deck railing to your house which won't block your view and won't need cleaning, unlike glass railings.It comes in a kit that will let you set up 100 feet of railings. Most homes will need three to six cables to ensure safety so you can fully enclose 33 to 15 feet of decking with this kit. Comes with a crimping tool which is a nice touch so that you won't need anything else besides a drill.

We wanted to build a trellis along a block wall in our backyard but didn't want a bully unsightly trellis. Using some additional hardware we were able to use this steel wire to complete the job. The wire is comparable to what I've used prior and gets the job done.

This kit is a great little set for people looking to start working with steel cable as a new type of fixation. Maybe you're the kind of person who is intimidated by something like steel cable? "Oh, that's for my boyfriend/husband and his winch thingy." you might say. Well, I'm here to tell you that you may want to think again. This kit is very simple, very straightforward, and has everything you need to use steel cable to hang planters, or as a minimal type of railing around your back yard or property line.For creative types, this is a fantastic option to have on hand. The accessories are adequate for someone just learning about steel cable. The accessories are all stainless steel with the exception of the crimps, which are aluminum.Another interesting use for these is for running horizontally, and hanging everything from planters to providing a way to drape shade fabric over. With steel cable on hand, you can rip a stump out of the ground, secure any sort of strucutral member you can wrap the cable around. It's just very good stuff to have on hand if you or your partner is a DIY type of person. At just 21.69 for the kit, it's a very low risk purchase to make. The worst case scenario is you have an incredibly robust material on hand for yourself, a neighbor, for all the things you can't think of.

I used these for cable stair railing and they worked great. Cable was thick enough to be secure and strong for its purpose, easily worked with and easily pulled tight with the pulleys. Nice finish on it - your traditional airline cable stainless steel. Came with everything I needed. No blemishes or issues, took it out of the box and installed just as you would expect.

-- This wire product is very well made and comes with what I could say are my most often used sleeves, thimbles and clips.-- With this product being a quality product, I am not happy to be giving it a 4 star rating. The reason I am giving this a lower rating is due to the Heavy Duty Cable Cutter not being included. To be fair, the listing does NOT say these are included. BUT the “Product Description” shows pictures of the cutter and no warning that cable cutters are not included. These multiple pictures actually gave me a false impression that it was included.-- I have cable cutters, so just getting more cable, sleeves, thimbles and clips for my multiple up-and-coming projects was ok. I was going to give the cable cutter to a relative.-- I feel not providing a cable cutter could be major issue with some buyers. If someone buys this wire kit and doesn’t have a cable cutter, they won’t be able to cut this cable with normal wire cutters. This means they will need to order a cable cutter and receive it before they will be able to use this cable on a project.-- I would recommend the seller make a note on the multiple pictures and text in the listing that says “Heavy Duty Cable Cutter is not included on all listings”.-- Even with the issues in the listing, it doesn’t change the product quality, and as odd as it sounds, JL MS does recommend this product due to its quality. Just make sure if you need a Heavy Duty Cable Cutter that it is also included in the listing description. You shouldn’t assume it is included just because you see it in the listings pictures.-- JL MS recommends that the seller make the listing easier to determine if the Heavy Duty Cable Cutter is or isn’t included.
