When we unrolled it there was rust on both spools. If it is indeed stainless it is very low grade. We cannot use it.

This cable railing system is strong and reliable.My grandpa fell a few months ago and broke his hip, so we have made several upgrades like this to ensure his safety. This railing is very modern looking and stainless steel, both perfect solutions for what I’m looking for.This cable is great quality, very solid. The 7x19 lay makes this a nice flexible cable for pulley use. I rewound a large cable tugger with it and have no questions about load tolerance. Gloves too small for my hands, but I didn't get it for the gloves. 1/4 is too big for a come-along, use 3/16".

A great, heavy-duty cable that has multiple uses. I have used some of it for a small railing system and it has been working out great. It has many a few months and there is no rust, and the line is still taut. This is a heavy-duty cable so you will need a decent set of wire cutters.
