Haven’t really had the time to really use it but each time I did, it worked great. Can’t beat it for the price.

This is what my husband had to say:This little die grinder is a total game-changer! I can’t believe how much power this thing packs into such a small size. It’s like a tiny tornado of grinding goodness. The high RPMs make quick work of any job, from cleaning up welds to shaping metal. The different collet sizes are super handy for switching between different bits. Plus, it’s so lightweight and easy to handle, even for long periods. If you're a DIYer or a pro, this tool is a must-have. It’s a total workhorse that will save you time and effort.

The collet will not hold the bit after about a weeks use and cannot find a replacement collet for this item. Kinda a waste of time. Cannot find a collet anywhere on the internet or on Amazon that will fit this pencil type grinder……After looking around you can buy a dremel collet and it will work. They sell them in 10 and 50 packs for like 14$

The Gunpla P.P.D.G. feels solid when you pick it up. From the weight of it, and the feel of the bearings, the collets, and the overall balance of the tool in your hand (despite the air hose), it gives a distinct impression of quality. It takes all of 5 minutes to set up, and the smooth rpm's this baby die grinder achieves are truly impressive. All of that, and they go and put an air condom on it - a transparent ribbed plastic sleeve that goes over the air hose with one end "secured" over the tool's air outlet, and the other following the air hose for a couple of feet. They refer to it as a "silencer", but calling it an "exhaust diffuser" would be a far more accurate description. Its primary accomplishment is rerouting the exhaust air to come out at a distance from the base of the tool. Honestly, it's a clever innovation, it just looks and feels inelegant, and is thus incongruous with the main body of the tool. Despite this one shortcoming, I would still rate it with 5 stars, and recommend it as a good purchase.

First unit worked for 30 minutes, then just stopped. Returned unit for another. Second unit from original order works, but it is running at half speed. You have to tap the on off knob to speed up. Replacement unit did the same thing as the second. After taking the unit apart I have found the culprit. When attaching the hose to the grinder the male connector from grinder seal’s it’s inlet with the hose. The male connector on the grinder needs to be ground off about 3/8” up to the threads. This allows for tightening and the end of the male connector does not touch the hose. I used a lot of Dotco grinders, but with a cost of $300.00 per grinder and having three benches with three to five grinders per bench, that gets really expensive. So hence the use of these grinders. These are made better than most, but they do get a little hot on the housing while using.

I've read some of the other reviews and I've not had any of the issues others have - so far.One thing I will say is that in order to get real torque from the tool you have to be running serious pressure (likely just shy of the rated 90psi is best). Anyone thinking they can run this with an airbrush compressor is going to be very disappointed - bit any pancake compressor should be up to the task. As a test, at about 30psi I was able to easily stop the collet with a fingertip. For me so far the on/off "switch" is working. On the first run turning the collar to "On" did nothing, I had to switch it off and on again (IT Crowd fashion... lol) and then it was off and running. I hope that isn't a harbinger of issues to come. The ait tube M connector includes an O-ring that makes a decent seal on the included quick-connect coupler (which worked fine with my set-up) HOWEVER the female thread on the included "water filter" was VERY sloppy - no way that's not going to leak. I don't need it as I have a large filter on my supply line, but if you plan to use it be sure to have some Teflon tape (or plumber's putty) on hand to fill that gap.The tool includes a bottle for tool oil (the nozzle is shipped inverted into the bottle) - but it includes no oil, so you'll want to get some. I do note there's a review where the user complained of a failure of TWO units after a month of use - I have to wonder if this person was correctly oiling the tool. The included """instructions""" (I use that term loosely as they are next to nothing) makes no mention of tool oiling, but I assume in typical fashion it is correct to put a drop or 2 into the tool before each use / at least every few hours of service.IMO for the price you can't beat it, but if you're looking for something better than "hobbyist grade" you may wish to spend a bit more.
