Once I learned how to use the Rattan it was pretty easy to work with and adds a very nice touch to the seats in the canoe I’m building. The size was ideal for this project and it seems that it should hold up very well.

Product is durable and easy to use once you get the hang of it. Great for getting rid of the “farm house” look and more “boho”. First DIY project turned out great!

This is plastic, not real rattan material. At first I thought it was great quality until I decided to test a piece that had fallen off by burning it. It retratacted exactly like plastic. It did not burn or scorch and was not able to break. So if you want plastic rattan this product is for you, however if you are looking for the real deal, go elsewhere.

Using it to redo a piece of furniture and it was amazing quality. I’m really glad I got it and it looks amazing!!! I ordered a larger amount than needed but I’m going to find something else to use it with since I have extra left over!

One thing if I had done things differently I would have rolled the material out and let it flatten out before starting a project with it. However, it still turned out fine for a quick dyi project. I did have a little bit of issue when I cut it to fit the size I needed, with the ends fraying. I used spray adhesive glue and so far it has stayed. Overall, I would buy again, just take a different route on preparing.

This "natural rattan" material is plastic. There is "no need to soak," as advertised, because it is plastic. I guess that's fine for some uses, but this description felt very misleading.

I found a couple chairs on the curb and thought it would be fun to give them a makeover. I ordered this because it was a great deal and I didn’t want to spend too much on the project. Pros: The cane is sort of plastic-y, so you don’t have to soak it long. It is a nice even color. It is moderately easy to work with and it achieved my desired look. It came with enough to do two chairs. Cons: it is sort of plastic-y. I don’t think it is 100% natural fibers. However because of this the color is even and consistent. I have never caned a chair before so my result was not perfect but I would definitely buy this product again.
