This didn't work at all. I bought it for my husband for Christmas and I took it out tonight to help chop up some veggies and it BROKE the first time. I had small pieces of gray plastic that broke when I easily pushed down to chop. Very Very bad.

The product has deceptive images that make it LOOK like other more expensive ones. I purchased exactly be ause it looked the same as the competitors, but was a few bucks cheaper. Here's what I discovered. 1-The handle on competing items is fixed. It is not used to press foods against the blade. The images for THIS one has both, the fixed handle and a top that lifts by the handle. The product I received lifts by the handle. While minor, a user might think it a good idea to chop by holding the handle, which may stress and break the hinges. 2-The product did not come with the really small mincing blade, which was the primary reason I wanted it. 3-The base has no cushion like the more expensive ones, which causes it to slip (as one tries to hold and pull the handle down to chop) 4-Worst of all, the base has no lip to support the top. It looked like someone bought a bunch of misprints where the lip didnt form correctly and cut them off, as the rim of the base had a sharp edges, was badly cut, with bits of plastic sticking out. So all in all, if you hold the base firm (purchase some rubber feet), hold the top firmly (as the lip of the base did not exist on mine and can cause the top to move around) and don't use the handle to push down on the top-just push on the top directly over the choping blade, then saving a few bucks will work. As for me, I returned this and bought the exact same product from a different Amazon seller for a few extra bucks which all, had a stationary handle, nice pads on the bottom, a little mincing blade, and a solid rim to hold the top. See that review, if you wish.

I recently purchased this Vegetable Chopper and I have been extremely impressed with its versatility and functionality. The Onion Chopper is perfect for dicing onions without the tears, while the Cheese Slicer makes grating cheese a breeze. The Food Chopper is great for chopping up vegetables for salads, and the Mandoline Slicer allows for precise slicing. Overall, this product has made meal prep so much easier and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient kitchen tool.

It does its main job. The blades still work great. The plastic top part that you press for the extra food to come off broke the 2nd day. Also it wasn't as ease to clean it as they say. I had to keep pressing the springs for it to let go of the extra stuck food. The only potato cutting is for small cubes. I would recommend just paying a little extra for a much more reliable one.

All the extra pieces make it easy to complete an entire meal and you’re able to cut up your vegetables with ease. It’s a little hard to push down until after the first cut.
