I have have being using my sisters tool when cooking. So I got one for me. I really like it. It isn’t too long or short. Cuts meats and also my onions. This is fun to use. I would buy it again.

Soft enough not to damage pans/skillets, but firm enough to separate a pound of hamburger into small pieces. Works well with bananas as well. I have eight other utensils from this manufacturer and love them all. Cleans up well by hand or in dishwasher. Love that it is heat resistance to over 400 degrees.

This is exactly what I was hoping for. I wanted to try the silicone style to see if it was going to be less abrasive on my non-stick cookware seems like it is so far.

There is a set of rigid fins that appear to be internally reinforced with metal, and a pair of floppy fins that are just silicone. This lends a bit more stability when chopping ground meat.But you still have to stir the meal, which requires a second, normal spatula. If you are serious about browning your meat, you will not be using a non-stick pan anyway since it can't handle the high temperatures required. And if you are using stainless steel or cast iron (Or better yet, carbon steel) then you can just use a steel spatula that will make much quicker work than this chopper.But if you need to mince up a lot of ground meat in a rice cooker, then this works quite well.

I purchased the mini chopper and it was about the size of the plastic one I replacedI was a little concerned when I saw a couple of reviews that were unfavorable and and one reviewer thought it was a throwaway. They cited that the chopper had two rigid fins and two semi soft fins. I used it just recently to chop hamburger and it worked great! The softer fins actually helped with stirring and cleaning the food out of the pan. This was good as I bought one for my son. I recently replaced my utensils due to reports of toxicity from black plastic utensils, especially when exposed to higher temperatures. I have a few non stick frying pans, an enameled cast iron pan, and stainless steele for the bulk of my cookware and the silicone utensils work well in all of them. The handle was rigid, the silicone chopper was non stick and was easy to clean. ISince switching over to silicone, I decided to handwash my utensils and this has worked well.

This silicone meat chopper is exactly what I was looking for. Unlike most nylon choppers, which can seem questionable in terms of toxicity, the fact that this one is make out of silicone makes me feel better about its safety. It does an excellent job breaking up ground beef without any risk of scratching my cookware. I’m also puzzled by the 'mini' label because it’s perfectly full-sized and fits my needs perfectly. I wouldn't want or need anything larger/longer!
