A friend gave me a older Canon camera but the flash card was pretty small in terms of storage. This went right in and was flawless in storing and allowing me to download my pics. I was more than pleased and now have plenty of storage.

I got this for use in my Canon 7D camera and it works great. Even in high speed mode, the card keeps pace with the camera.If you need a CF card, this is a good choice.

I have a Nikon D200 camera that I bought new back in the mid-2000s. It came as a kit with lens and Compact Flash Card. The memory card that came with the camera was only 2GB which was a common size for that time. I replaced it with this 16GB card and it effectively increased my in-camera storage space by 8x.More Storage Space for my D200My LED indicator now shows 3K photos are available for storage at Medium/Fine jpg setting. My battery would probably become exhausted before I would run out of space on this card.Why Increase Storage in Your Camera?So, why is this large capacity card desirable? The answer is raw images or NEF files as Nikon calls them. Previously, I shot mostly jpg images which are compressed but have a limited ability to be edited. Raw files offer more editing flexibility but they tended to fill up my 2GB card. This 16GB card effectively removes that barrier.Works Flawlessly in My D200When I received this card, I inserted it into the memory slot of my D200 camera. I then used the camera's menu to format it. It formatted without issue. I took a few test shots and previewed them on the camera's LCD. They came out as I expected. Everything works as it should.Summary CommentsThis is a good card that can increase your compatible camera's storage capacity. It works well in my Nikon D200 and gives me more flexibility when shooting raw images. I recommend it.

I mostly use a newer mirrorless camera that takes only SD cards. But sometimes it sure is nice to have a full size DSLR camera to use. That's why I bought this compact flash, since my full size DSLR accepts both SD and Compact flash cards, and it's nice to have one of each in it. The compact flash cards that I had were all much smaller, and this one gives me pretty much unlimited photos, even when I shoot in jpeg plus raw images, and even when I bracket my pictures. The processing time seems to work faster than the SD card that I have in the same camera. It worked right out of the box, though I then did go format it just to make sure it's fully compatible. All in all I am very happy with this order and would recommend it if it suits your needs. Please note that I did not use this for video recording, which does require higher speeds. So I can't attest to the read and write speeds for video recording.
