I don't think I've ever written a negative review, but there's always a first time for everything. This card caused an expensive repair for my Nikon Z8. I was excited to get this CFexpress Type B card and Lexar is supposedly a great brand. I opened the package and put the brand new CFexpress Type B card into my Nikon Z8, and it functioned properly... until I went to eject it. The card got stuck in the slot, it would pop up with the spring after pressing to eject, but it could not be pulled out whatsoever. After contacting Nikon, I had to send the camera to them for repair, an almost $400 cost.... not happy, hoping Lexar can assist with this issue.

I've been using Lexar for storage primarily for Photography when I purchased my Nikon D50 in 2005. Over the years I've purchased other (cheaper brands) that have not performed as well (failed) and while the price of other cards may easier on the wallet, my Lexar cards have never failed.If you're looking for performance and reliability I highly recommend Lexar. They perform very well with my Nikon Z8 and Z6iii. the cards speed to read and write is excellent.

Is this an expensive memory card? Yes it is! However, if you're going to spend thousands of dollars on a camera, why cheap out on the memory card! It's like buying a Lamborghini and only using regular gas and buying used tires for it instead of new! This is one of the most trusted manufacturers when it comes to these cars! They are beyond reliable! A very card that reads and exceptional speeds! I bought this for my Nikon Z6 and have had zero issues with it at all! It has held up in every kind of weather, transfers to computer is fast.... Are there options for a less expensive card? Yes, but don't take a risk on your important photos getting lost due to card breakdown! Do yourself a favor and get this now!

The Nikon D850 camera was designed to use Nikon or Sony XQD memory cards, but these cards are very limited in availability, size, and price. I recently discovered that a CFexpress "Type B" memory card should work in my camera with the latest firmware update, so I purchased this CFexpress Type B memory card to see if that is true. I updated the firmware for the camera, installed the memory card, and formatted the card in the camera, and, as advertised, it works!However, according to Nikon, the read and write speed will be limited to a lower speed than what the card is capable of due to the camera's data handling to accommodate the CFexpress Type B Memory Card. However, it is still fast enough to see no difference from using the XQD card.I am glad I can use a CFexpress Type B Memory Card because it is cheaper than XQD cards and has more memory capacity options.

I bought this once the price dropped. I use it in my Nikon D850 and D500 cameras. This is my second one I've purchased and I haven't had any issues. I typically am a fan of SanDisk memory cards, but Lexar is also a long standing Brand that I've come to trust.
