My heart sank a little with the sketchy packaging, but the product delivers. Most CF cards on the market are not industrial cards and when using a CF to IDE adapter in an old PC will have issues. These transcend cards can function properly as functionally IDE drives and work well. Worked in an IBM Thinkpad 350 and 755 with no issues (outside of the fun task to ripping one of those caddies open). Another win for me with Transcend.

OK, the memory-capacity is absurdly small by modern-day standards - but I bought it to go in an old-ish digital camera that couldn't handle anything much larger, and now the whole ensemble works very well.

Bought this to use with a device that couldn't read large capacity cards... and then the company of said device released a firmware update that then allowed you to use any size card you want... so now it just seems like I've just bought a small capacity memory card...Works fine and has decent transfer speed I guess... but larger faster storage CF cards can be had for less. It may end up being used to prop up a wobbly table...
