The plexiglass clips do not fit a 36 gallon topfin bowfront tank. The part that should fit over the tank glass, doesn't. They started snapping off. I would look elsewhere for lid clips.

I’m sure the actual 6mm (when they are that size) are fantastic, and the quality of the plastic is high, but the bag of clips I received are *labeled* 6mm, but are actually 8mm. I really wish they had been the right size, I wanted to love them! I scheduled a return and refund of this item successfully (thank you Amazon customer service), this is the only reason it does not get only 1 star.

Holding the new lid I made for my aquarium perfectly. Nice clear heavy duty clips. Can’t go wrong with these. Measure the thickness of your glass and order the correct millimeter size and you’ll be happy.

Thicker plastic, sturdier and stronger than the clips my aquarium came with! The plastic is longer as well so more area offers support. The lid rests on top of supports great!
