This lid is super module and affordable! I used some scissors to cut mine to size, they were quite easy to figure out as well. Cat proof !

Works great, easy to cut to whatever size you need. I was able to make a lid for my 20gl, 5gl and 2.5gal ranks out of the 4 sheets it comes with. Even made a shrimp box with the scraps I had left over. Definitely would recommend!

I was very pleased with the quality and strength of these panels. Easy to trim with wire cutters. Solved the problem of my cat reaching in or drinking from my aquariums.

I have the Fluval long and narrow 5 gallon tank and it is difficult to find a top. We had to get a better top because my male king betta, Cosmo (in pic), jumped out through the large middle gap in the original lid and onto the hard floor 3 ft below! I think he was after a piece of food sitting on top of the clear lid. Luckily, we found him right away and he didn't seem injured, and has since been normal weeks later. But we had to get a cover to prevent it from happening again. It's a little tricky measuring and cutting the right size, which is expected when you're customizing something. Now that it's fitted, it looks great and is easy to remove when I need to. The only thing I don't like is how large the clips are, but at least they're clear and function well. I love that they allow the top to nestle just inside the tank ledge instead of on top. Very nice feature!

I bought this for the value and the quality. It was easy to use and I needed to cute to size which was a little tricky because of the thickness but worth it! The cat can’t get in the aquarium anymore. I would have given it a 5 star if it was easier to cute or had a tool included.

This cover works perfectly to stop Bettas from jumping out. I highly recommend buying wire cutters, as this is hard (or nearly impossible) to cut and assemble with regular scissors. I also used a pneumatic sander to get rid of the sharp edges left behind by cutting. It would be very cool to see this product eventually get perforated edges that can pop out for easier and safer assembly.The appearance is very eye-catching, but I wish the mounts were less noticeable. Suction cups with hooks to set the lid onto would be a neat option to see someday.With all that being said, this cover fits amazingly and supports substantial amounts of weight. It alleviated my worries of my cats going fishing, or my Betta trying to go for walks. I highly recommend this product, even with the caveats I mentioned. It's well worth the effort.

I like that these are completely adjustable and easy to use, though it can be a bit of a pain cutting through the plastic (I used a medium-sized wire cutter) but a fine saw would work as well I think. I have small tanks (5.5g and 2.5g) so I was able to use what I ordered and have plenty left over if I need to make a new cover or two.I don't need to worry anything can jump or crawl out of the tank, but since it's not a solid cover, you will experience more water loss from evaporation than other types of lids!

It does the job nice alone each piece, but you can't really connect them together using their pre-design. It won't fit.

No clips were included in the shipment, and too expensive to return. So useless for me.

Be careful cutting. Dont use a hammer to lock them together. They will push in. Pretty sturdy for what it is. Beats the price of a metal lid of this will work to your application. Plus no rust or excessive calcium build up. Be patient, youll have to make a few adjustments. But it works! Looks good too!
