Worked great. Had to tighten the housing screws that shot water, but easy fix.

I love this water pump. It really is powerful. I was skeptical at first since there was no video to watch but I still went ahead and purchase it. What is the worst thing that can happen. A return? Well let me tell you it’s not necessary because it works perfectly and is so powerful that I was amazed. I totally recommend this water pump.

Awesome lightweight pump is perfect for emptying the horse 175 gallon troughs in the barn in a short period of time. Definitely strong enough to handle any overflow area. Easy to hook up, worth the money.

The pump at first didn't turn on at first when I tested it.The garage flooded like it always does in a heavy storm. I bought this pump as a backup.I decided to try it under real conditions. The pump failed very quickly. I suspect the thermo-protectionkicked in awfully fast. The pump will not turn on again until it cools off. I couldn't wait that long andput the old reliable back in service. I wouldn't by this again unless you plan to sit there and watch it.

I read many reviews regarding submersible pumps and choose the ExtraUp pump because of it. The pump is well made and worked well to pump the water out of the above ground pool that had not been winterized properly. I recently purchased the home.I needed to keep rinsing the bottom of the pump due to the amount of algae and green water. I also rinsed the entire unit with clean water.Strong pump, sturdy housing, I recommend this pump.

The pump is powerful, but the cheap plastic casing can not handle it. The base is held on by four screws. Two of the plastic studs that the screws attach to snapped allowing the water to shoot out the side. It is surprising they would have such a design flaw, every other sump pump I own has a single piece body preventing this failure.

I bought this pump as it was advertised to be able to pump water down to a depth of 2 mm. I wanted it to use for draining my above ground pool if things had gone wrong over the winter and I needed to drain and refill the pool at the start of the season. I had a pump that could get the pool down to about 1" of water, but that last 1" can really leave you with a chore: 1.) You still have quite a lot of water to remove manually and, 2.) That remaining water is usually really rank with algae, winter debris, and whatever. So it has to come out or your just going to be dealing with last year's problems again soon. So, I decided to spend the $70 bucks and I got myself the Extraup submersible. I'm glad I did. It takes a bit of coaching to get the bottom of a pool liner nearly dry (debris clogging, uneven bottom even if you think it is perfectly flat...) but, when I was done I could have sponge dried what was left in an 18' round , above -ground pool into a 2 gallon pail in short order. Like I said, it is not a set it and forget it type of operation to get the pool dry, but it is much less labor intensive than any other method I have used. One issue you will have to deal with, as I did, is the fact that the submersible will instantly suck onto the pool liner and you will lose all flow. I'll have to think of something better for the years to come, but this year I just jammed anything I could find that was 1/8 - 1/4" thick under the pump. The skimmer lid seemed to work the best, but it would be nice if the pump came with something that would keep the base of the pump from direct contact with the liner.Overall, I'm very pleased. The pump drained my liner enough to make liner patching very easy and effective. If they would provide some form of 2mm stand-off below the pump, then this system would be perfect.Jimmy

Great addition to your heavier sump pump that has trouble with those last couple inches.Light, reasonably powerful, easy to attach a suitable length garden hose for drainage. Can't address longevity as I've only had it for a couple months. Worked perfectly right out of the box.Have used for pooled water in a leaky basement, boat cover, low spots in landscape. Would be ideal for finish draining for water changes in hot tubs, fish ponds, etc.
