Our cats destroyed the original covers on our armchairs, so after buying brand new denim slipcovers, I decided to give this tape a shot to see if I could train the cats to leave the chairs alone.It was easy to apply and seems to be sticking really well (brand new, fairly smooth fabric that was lint rolled just prior to application). So far, the cats have left the chairs alone, so I have high hopes! It’s definitely noticeable on the chairs (but way less so than the gaping holes in the previous covers made by the cats). I don’t mind it at all, since the chairs also have protective mats on the seats for our dogs, I know our chairs aren’t the most attractive anyways. Other reviews seem to mention that the adhesive doesn’t stick for long. Although mine shows no signs of coming off, my backup plan is to keep it up with the spiral push pins used to keep the protective mats in place. I’m hoping this helps keep our chairs in one piece for a long time!!

I’ve been using this cat scratch tape on my chairs, and it works great. The thickness is just right—strong enough to stop my cat from scratching but not too thick to be visible. It blends in nicely with my furniture, and I’ve noticed a big difference in my cat’s behavior. Very effective and easy to remove when I need to.
