Upon initial install they work great . Filter the water and had low back pressure . Eventually the pressure built up to 10+ psi above new install and attempting a back flush . Did not virtually see any dirt in sight glass however pressure was reduced . However , it shot back up to the 10+ psi within 2 days . Rinse and repeat , literally.Next step was to take them out and wash them . Did that , washed 4 bags worth in 2 cycles in washing machine . Reinstalled and the pressure still Climbed back up in 3-4 days .After 6 months of headache went back to sand above pea gravel . Working great . Now outside return window so sitting on $104 of filter balls that don’t work .Brand new Pentair Tagelus 100 filter , Hayward 2 speed pump , 25,000 gallons pool and spa combo .

It's probably time to replace the sand in my filter but I'm trying to delay that using these in my skimmer basket. I don't think I would use them in my tank. I swap out a batch at a time so I can rinse about 10 at a time. ( Saw someone on youtube using it in the above ground and gave it a try). It's a little bit of work but seems to be helping with all the fresh rain and cloudiness my pool was dealing with.

These balls work good my water has been clean for two months no problem I will always use these filter balls no sand, easy to use no leakage perfect size, the appearance looks like cotton balls so cute.

My sand pump did not have a strong outflow when in filter mode. In recirculating it was powerful coming out of the jet but in filter mode and going through the sand it barely had any strength. Switched to these filter balls and it had so much pressure. My pool has been clear all summer with no issues. It was simple to install, easy to clean just throw them in the washer (I’ll clean at end of pool season). Definitely get these no doubt about it

We used to clean our pool with filter sand as a filter medium. I couldn’t get rid of the yellowish color of the water all last year. As I carried out a trial run with a water-filled bucket this year before installing the pump, I now know that the filter sand we bought was to blame for the contamination of the water.That’s why we switched to the pool filter balls this year.The pool water is now clearer than ever before! The pump’s suction power is not affected and the balls can be washed in the washing machine at the end of the season.So far I am very happy with this purchase. I will definitely buy again!

Boy, do I wish I would’ve bought these sooner. We had fought sand all summer and finally decided to try out these in our sand filter. The pool was so much clear by the next day. These are definitely worth buying.

Recently got myself an inflatable hot tub and learned very quickly. Thanks to amazing people in FB groups about hot tubs. Filter Balls are the way to go. Replace those horrible paper filters that will give you the E02 code and put in filter balls. Inexpensive and washable. One of the best things you can get in addition to your new tub.

These work great! I had a small above ground pool set up for my grandson for the summer, but I couldn't keep the water from turning green. I put these in the sand filter and they kept the water clear.
