Have purchased more than one of these. We have a ice build up issue on our roof every winter. These are easy to place on the roof and work well when the sun comes out. We have even used them over some drainage pipes that have frozen up. Takes a lot of them but they do work well.

So far I’ve put ten up on the roof and absolutely nothing has happened. I think these are for a minor issue not a lot of ice and snow.

I tossed a bunch of these where I have an ice dam building up and they did nothing. The dam still grew very large. Disappointed.

I was willing to pay the inflated price because of the ability to toss pucks on the roof. But when my tub-o-pucks arrived I discovered instead a tub-o-powder.This was a waste of money for me. Good luck to you if you purchase

Product is 10/10!!! However, do not order from this seller. The product arrives 1/2 crumbled, destroyed & useless. Go to your local store to purchase. Colossal waste of money.

The bottom of the 14 lb bucket was full of dust and kibble. The pucks are compressed dust. Falls apart if squeezed to hard in the palm of your hand. True Value sells the same product at 1/2 the cost but they were out of current stock.

For the inflated price on these they definitely don’t work. I threw quite a few on top of ice on my gutters and some are still up there days later. I had assumed being a form of ice melt that they would melt ice and the pucks would go with the ice. Not the case here. Will be investing in a snow rake for next storm and not using these again.

As suggested, I tossed several pucks in every section of the roof hoping it will help melt ice and snow. It did absolutely nothing. 2 days later, I hired someone to plow the snow off the roof. Don’t waste your money on this.
