Try finding a small countertop type tv that has an HDMI input (e.g., for a mini Roku), a USB port (to power the Roku), headphone jack, antenna for broadcast stations, and an SD card slot! This may be the only portable 12" with all those features. Picture is very good and sound acceptable if you use the equalizer function to boost bass (not that you get much bass). Don't know how long the battery lasts since we use it in the kitchen rather than on the road. Excellent value IMHO. Delivered on time and easy to set up.

The one thing that I dislike, is that the connections inside the coaxial, on mine were "loose" no matter what antenna, any movement...That being said.. I did a return/replacement. It arrived before I expected (went on a trip, and my neighbor told me that a package had arrived). EXCELLENT! The antenna that came with it, it very good (except for the tip coming off).HOWEVER, any antenna that is used (as long as the internal connection is good: EXCELLENT! Screen. Great. Portability. Great. Sound. Great. Want different,or greater? Look at something that I bought: little mini speaker, that I can plug into the headphone jack, and put next to my pillow.Stations.great.Any over the air radio, or tv stations that you can presently get, you can get them with this little tv AND MAYBE MORE. Let me explain:I split my time between Southern California, and Northern Baja Mexico. I also love Amtrack. I also have to go to a Veterans Medical Center, for appointments. It has passed my test. Enough to make me spend a few more dollars, to make up for the annoying parts:It is durable, but slippery. No real place (unless you hold it by the stand) to "just put in in your bag,and go.baught a small case, and an extra "normally used for cell phones finger ring..AND cut down to fit, leftover screen protector from a laptop (left over, because the people sent me the wrong ones, and it was better to just keep it, instead of time and expense to return it).Back to the splitting my time thing: I watch NBC (all 3), KPBS (all 4) Antenna TV, Fox, and a few more stations. On this tiny tv..that I can have next to my bed.AND.. the remote control is pretty cool. At first,a friend and I had LOL moments.. like that's just silly. If the tv is far away enough that you need a remote..it is far away enough that you can't see it, anyway. However..remote is a bit "critical".. once you get used to where the top buttons are..ok.. however..get one,and you will understand... Why move it, inadvertently..when.. remote.Longest time that I am sure of, not plugged in: 2+hours.Annoying thing: (Segway, from h*ll). At least mine... Switches to audible closed caption mode, with some stations. Was a bit cool, while watching the Winter Olympics., But. While watching a sitcom.. hearing" such and such just sat on a couch, and people are laughing".. annoying.Either way, I would recommend it

I bought two of these Milanix 8 inch LED TVs about a week apart from each other. They perform nearly identically with one having an almost imperceptible yellow tint but again it is very hard to tell the difference. I fully charged both and rant them for almost exactly 2 hours before they went blank. There is no warning it just goes blank and cuts off. But I was pleased with battery life on both.As far as the picture, for this size TV and this price point it is exception in my opinion. Obviously, some stations broadcast at different resolutions and image quality so I picked station with the highest quality color broadcasts and to be honest I'm very happy with the image quality. The colors are rich and the clarity is very good and sharp. No complaints. The included antenna that has a 6 foot wire to it works well but not as good as a coax cable and antenna I bought from Walmart. With the included antenna I can scan and get 65 channels. With the Walmart cable and antenna I can get 75 channels.I'm really surprised there are so many bad reviews when both I received work very well. I am a little concerned about how long they will last since there are some reviews that complain of early failures. Only time will tell on that. The remotes I received seem standard size of about 5 inched tall and 2 inches wide. Not sure what others are talking about with their miniature remotes. The remotes both work perfectly.I have only one complaint and that has to do with the stand. You see, there is a small built in Leg for it to stand upright on instead of using the screw on bigger base stand. I think many people confuse that with a 2nd antenna. It is not an antenna and so people that mistake it for one are probably those complaining it received no signal. You must connect the antenna with the 6 foot cord to it to receive stations.Anyway, that leg has a protrusion that sticks out about a quarter of an inch from the housing and that protrusion is directly in the way of the bigger included screw on base. I am totally surprised I don't see more mention of this in other reviews so maybe I have a newer model I don't know. I've included a photo of this. I wonder if I'm doing something wrong. I don't see any other way to attach the large stand. But I can live with this. I may eliminate the little leg stand and shave off that nub.Other than that I'm impressed and would buy it again if it lasts at least 24 months. I'll post an update later if it fails early.
